Keeps you warm, but absurdly hard to get on and off.
I bought this suit solely for the price since I couldn't afford the bigger name brand suits in my local surf shop. It's definitely a well made suit and keeps me warm in the NY winter months though. Water does not seem to penetrate the suit.My biggest complaint though is fit. When I first tried the suit on after purchasing it, I ended up getting trapped in it for a good 45 minutes. I had the suit up to my shoulders, but the opening is so tight and narrow that it became stuck, digging into the side of my shoulders. Unable to move my arms and completely alone, I was rolling all over my living room floor trying desperately to free myself. In the end, I figured out a trick. When it's on my shoulders, I still have enough flexibility to grab the hood from behind me and snug at it with my fingertips. That usually pulls it down just low enough to for me to get enough range motion in my shoulders to get the rest of it off.I am 6 feet, approximately 160 lbs. I purchased a medium. That initial struggle has gotten a little easier with practice and from breaking it in a bit, but it's still no walk in the park. Getting it over my shoulders is not just uncomfortable, it's painful. I am not a big guy, more on the lanky side. However, the main hole is not wide enough and does not have enough stretch to comfortably get it over my shoulders in a manner that would be acceptable. I'm accustomed to thicker suits being difficult, but this is just a bit absurd. Once the suit is on, it fits pretty well for the most part. However, in the design of the suit, there seems to be an additional layer that overlaps into the right shoulder. This makes the shoulder area even narrower, causing discomfort while wearing it and while paddling. Additionally, slipping my head through that opening to get the hood on is also very tight with very little stretch. It usually takes me a couple minutes to get it on and around 10 minutes to get it off fully since I usually need to take several breaks from just all the tugging.I have questioned whether or not I purchased the right size, but the legs and arms seem to be the proper length, even a bit long in certain areas.

hyperflex ampIII 5/4/3
Completely awesome! Never had i been this warm surfing in oregon! Wow....!! Luv it! Our water temp is about 53 degrees. Broke my board way out in the line up but since i was warm i could just relax on my way back in! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fu6-isSkmGU&feature=youtube_gdata_playerTIP: Hard to get in and out of but worth it. Fits very snug. Size chart for that brand it not accurate. Order bigger rather than smaller. Helps using a rash guard to get on and off.NOTE: Do NOT....I repeat, "DO NOT" order the Flow series. The AMP III is wayyyy better. I ordered the flow first. Sending it back. The amp 3 is night and day. Not to mention the flow was too small...so I ordered one size bigger and decided on the amp 3 upgrade...I am thankful the flow was too small cuz I luv my amp 3. plus I found my size for 30 bucks cheaper than the flow.

They do run small and its hard for one to get inside. Compared it to an Excel and the difference is night and day to put it on. Never used so I can't say if it was warm.

Impressive suit
I surfed 41 temp last weekend, the suit was so warm i was borderline hot in it. It's flexible for 5m and the hood is good. Sep from the wetsuit, turning your head sideways helps keep the water out of your ears when duc diving--.Now back to the suit. The size for large, i'm 5-11 and 175 and i was snug in it. my legs are little thicker so that may be why. It was not loose by any measure. A great purchase and can hold up in cold temps.
