Blue Wave Gold 15-Year 18-ft x 34-ft Oval Above Ground Pool Winter Cover

Excellent cover, very sturdy and It will last a long time. Very thick with the 14x14 scrim. Most covers are 8x8 or 7x7 scrim. I going to buy another one just to have on hand before its not available. I have a 12x21 pool and this fit it very well! The best cover I have ever ordered. I normally buy one every year but this one seems like it will last. I don't regret buying it. NOW for the hand crank-it fell apart the first time we tried to use it. It just wasn't well made or maybe the quality of the metal was bad. Keep you old one if you have one!

We purchased our cover in 2013. I have done nothing but rinse it with a hose in the driveway each Spring before letting it air dry and finally folding it up for the summer. That is it. Zero maintenance. It is still keeping every drop of dirty leaf water out of our pool. It's strange to write this in a review but thank you! You produce a quality product.UPDATE:After 12 seasons of keeping our pool crystal clear over the winter I finally noticed a small tear where it stretches over the pool pillow. My first thought, WOW what a run. Roughly $85 and it lasted 12 years without an issue. Quality cover. I went back to our purchase history to order a new one and noticed the 15 year warranty. I thought, this can't possibly be covered. Maybe I can get a slight discount on the next order. Nope, FULLY COVERED. I cannot believe it. I actually feel guilty taking them up on it. It was a perfect cover for 12 years. Amazing company. I don't know what else to say. I highly recommend this product.One last comment. Customer service picked up immediately. It was an actual human being and the warranty was processed within two hours. This type of service is so rare these days. Thank you.

Obviously it takes multiple people to install due to the size. It is a good quality. Be sure to take it on and off in a timely manner if the weather fluctuates like it does in Nebraska. If left on too long, it will weather and crack.

This cover is working well so far, only thing I don’t like is the size. We have an odd sized pool so the closest fitting was this size cover which was still a few feet too big but we are making it work. It seems to be very strong and sturdy so far, we are about one month in to using it. Good value!

I have had my above ground pool for many years, but have never had this oversized of a cover. maybe I had been doing it wrong all along, but this one is designed to hold the rain/snow. It nice not to hear the flapping of the cover in the wind. Time will tell if summer opening is harder, but for now it is working well.

There is way too much material on the ends. It reaches both sides of the ground the long way. I remeasured the pool to make sure and it’s 24’ x 16’. Which is one foot off by the box but even if there was an extra foot of pool that’s only 6-8 inches from the sides removed which wouldn’t be enough to make this fit correctly.

First year above ground pool owner, with lots of trees in back yard. Contemplated just letting it be and dealing with dirty water in the spring. Thought about getting a large tarp and diy with water bags, cinder blocks or milk jugs , ….Until I found this relatively inexpensive pool cover, as part of a 3-product kit. Tarp fits our 30x15 oval nicely, though we did have to remove the ladder, if I was doing again I’d buy larger size. Install was straight forward, with a ratchet tool to tighten draw string around the edge.Other products in kit were chemical ball for anti bacterial agent to prevent algae, and a 3-set of pillows that did not work for us. I took them out so the water on top of the cover can find equilibrium instead of uneven pockets.S saw a friends pool without cover, and can only imagine the work and chemical expense when they go to open. Instead I’ll sump pump water and leaves off and hope it’s fresh underneath come April or May.

Had this cover for 2 years. Our pool gets full sun from sunrise to sunset. No trees for shade or leaves/debris. We use a pillow in the middle and I siphon off water about every week during the winter. When we removed it I rinsed it with a hose, folded it up and stored it in the garage for the summer. We removed the cover this spring and noticed blue flakes everywhere and several small tears in the cover. I probably could have gotten a 3 year out of it but I prefer to not get any outside junk in the pool over the winter. I decided to trash it and buy another. I didn't not attempt a warranty claim but I will if the new one only last 2 years.

UPDATE JUNE 2023 : used over the winter and it still looks and feels brand new. I’m so impressed with the quality of the tarp. I used to buy from the pool store but not anymore! The tarps they sell deteriorate too fast. This tarp is awesome and I’ll always buy from here.Great quality!! I was sceptical but it arrived and the quality was great. I buy pool covers from the pool store for more money and not nearly as well built. I would recommend this to my friends for sure. They only part that seemed like it could be better was the winch. Other then that , awesome buy !!! Well worth the money.

I bought this cover for our above ground pool. I paid more for it and it has a 15 year warranty. The material seems a lot better, durable, finer weave, stronger than the ones I normally buy. Usually have to replace pool cover every two years. I'll see how this one lasts through the winter...

This above ground pool cover is the strongest and thickest one we've had for the past 15 years. Previous covers we've bought have leaked after a couple of years letting dirty rainwater through into pool.This one, which was imported from the States, is substantial by comparison. Also it's very generous in the depth around the sides to cover a good 500mm more than the previous poorer covers. Hopeful that this will last us a good few years. Transportation was quick and cost very reasonable.
