story of a spoiled rich british woman having to rough it in 1880s montana during the cattle boon period.she hated everything and anybody.when the cattle boon went bust,they sold and moved back to england. a true story of wealthy people that gives up their lifestyle and fails miserable at roughing it. but life in the west in the 1800s was hard and some people learned to adapt,others didn't.

Had to read this book for an American Studies course, and really enjoyed it!
