Do i need a separate wall mount for the shower head?

Added a picture in my review of the threaded pipe that needs to stick out from the wall in order to connect this fixture. It is the standard pipe for most bathrooms with a shower head.

Can this be installed without the Water Flow Restrictor?

Yes and the water flow restrictor is actually in a separate little zip locked bag so it is an optional install (not the default). Super easy to hand tighten this in the install. I used zero tools, except a crescent wrench and some WD40 to remove the existing shower head.

does this unit have a pause function so you can stop the water, soap up, and go back and rinse off?

The pause function is in the last position of the function knob. Turn it to the last position to the right and this will be the pause function.

How do I replace a shower head pipe?

Hello, To replace a shower head pipe just remove the old pipe, use a wrench to rotate the pipe counterclockwise. Clean the connection and replace the Teflon tape. Turn the new shower head pipe clockwise on the taped fitting and hand-tighten it. After the shower head with hose is installed, check for leaks.
