Christmas With The Wartime Midwives: The perfect Christmas wartime story to curl up with this winter

Have only just started reading this, but so far, so good!

From first chapter you are hooked. By the last chapter you are so happy for all the women involved in this story.

Christmas With the Wartime Midwives written by Daisy Styles and narrated by Helen Lloyd for me was a pure delight both written and even better via audible.Daisy Styles has written another masterpiece bringing her readers back to the Mary Vale Nursing Home where once again they offer a home for those women who have simply fallen pregnant without a wedding ring on their finger or for women who need a bit of extra care from the most generous-hearted group friends who all wear a uniform of their own but what Mary Vale residents all seem to have is a big heart and the love of caring for those in need.I loved every page of this series of books, and this is another masterpiece from Daisy Styles, she creates characters which are so well described I felt each pain they did and the heartbreak those who were born without a silver spoon in their mouths had to do each day to survive was eye-opening and so much more.If you love a book which will take you into the lives of each character and show how pure charity works by simply caring for those in need.A wonderful read which I know I will return to, and the fact Helen once again perfectly narrated by Helen Lloyd. Helen Lloyd's gift of narrating is exceptional, how she brought each character alive by simply changing her voice. I immediately knew what character was talking or narrating the story.A wonderful book which I am incredibly happy to recommend as it takes me back to my favourite group of Sisters and nursing staff as well as an odd farmer or two.

This is book 5 in the Mary vale series I’ve loved every book following the lives of the lovely midwives and sisters each book introduces new characters I just hope there will be a book 6

Lovely book to sit and read, especially at Christmas. Nice storyline and ending. Not saying more as would spoil the experience.

Love the series, actually not finished this yet but very promising

I couldn't put this book down, I love the story and the women who worked so hard for their children

First book i have read from this author, loved all the characters and great storyline hope there is a follow up.
