I bought this because on my old one (from Encased) plastic pieces are literally breaking away after about 16 months. I use the clip-on holster constantly and this case is definitively not made for this purpose. It's too difficult to slide the phone in and out. The case was very cheap, but I still wouldn't recommend it. If you don't use the holster then maybe it is worth the few dollars. As the other reviewer indicated, don't use the kickstand.

I just received the case and I am kind of disappointed in it. The case itself seems like it is very sturdy and should protect the phone well. One of the problems is the kick stand. That was one of the reasons I went with it. It feels like I'm about to break it every time I try to slide it out. Also, it is difficult to slide it back in and snap it back into the case. Once again, It feels like it is going to break at anytime. The next problem is not that big of a deal to me but it might be to a lot of people. I don't use holsters but it is really tough to slide the phone into it. You are going to have push it in with a good amount of force. The same if you want to take it out. You can't do either with it clipped to your pocket or belt. Also, the belt clip is flimsier than the stand. Even though I do not use one I clipped it into my pocket and it flopped around and seemed like it could fall off at any second. I also opened it up to use it as a kick stand like the description and picture depict and the spring to the clip fell out. You can put it back in but who wants to do that every time you want to use it as a kick stand. Once again I want to state that I never intended to use the kick stand so that doesn't matter to me but it might to you. I work in the construction field and I really think the case itself will provide good protection. That is why I am going to keep it and give it three stars. It was only $9.99. But if having a good kick stand and holster really matter for you find something else.
