It is really cool. It could be more than just a toy or novelty, but it goes above and beyond if that is all you are looking for, it is a unique instrument that you can enjoy anywhere. Very portable and has a nice sound, I would love to slap a pickup on it and run it through some effects...soon. If mine broke I would buy another.

I gave this thumb piano as a gift, and my relative immediately started learning how to play it. The sounds are pleasant and interesting. The piano comes with sample songs and instructions. There is a larger version of this same item, so customers may want that. I didn't notice it, so I purchased the smaller and less expensive one. Still, what a neat gift idea for a musical person!
