This stuff really works miracles. We struggled with string algae for years in our 1600 gal goldfish pond. We had a good pump, filter with U/V etc. but nothing seemed to help. About 4 years ago we started with Nualgi and in a couple of weeks string algae just about disappeared and the pond was crystal clear. Since then we just squirt in a maintenance dose and thats it! I really can't say enough good things about Nualgi. FIsh are healthy, froggies always seem to find a place to hang out and no more nuisance algae. The UV light stopped working last year and we did not bother to replace it.

Took a whole month, then BAM! All clear. Amazing. Tried this after beneficial bacteria we were using (Microbe Lift) was helping but not completely keeping things under control. We started using this in conjunction with it, and only needed 2 drops each week for our pond size. We had our doubts the first few weeks because our pond did NOT clear up fast like some reviewers said. It took the full 4 weeks. But once it got clear, it has stayed clear. I can’t believe I spent good money on a tiny bottle of what is basically fancy pond water with super special algae in it, but yes, it is worth it. Our pond is a 165 gallon plastic insert that already had marginal plants, snails and mosquito fish, which was clear, then got gradually worse over the summer. This cleared it up even in the full sun and heat.

Read about Nualgi and the concept sounds good. Grow Diatom and have them eat up the nitrate and starve the algae. Shutdown my UV so it won't kill the diatom. I have a 2000 gallon pond with just 4 kois so it is not heavily stocked. I only feed them once a day.You only need to add 1ml per 1000 gallon so I bought the smallest bottle to try which is 60ml. This should last 30 weeks for me. Expected results can vary from a few days to up to 4 weeks so decided to try it for at lesst four weeks. I was careful not to over dose as it contains metal which can be harmful to kois if you add too much. Did notice my kois were much less active once I started adding nualgi.After 4 weeks, no improvements at all. I was really hoping this would work because Diatoms would lower the nitrates. UV filter would just kill the algae but the nitrate is still there so I liked Nuagli's approach better. I will wait another 1 to 2 weeks then go back to my UV filter.Hope other users have better luck. I was hoping to at least see some kind of improvement. Attached weekly pictures. I added 3 gallons of water from one of my fishtanks and put as much diatoms as I can then waited a month. After 1 month, added 2ml of Nualgi and the pond cleared up in 3 days. Seems to be working. It was hard to believe my pond didn't have any diatoms. Regardless, glad the algae is gone and I can now see my kois. Nitrate levels seems to have gone down also. Didn't use my UV filter at all.

A muskrat destroyed my pond , but it is coming back now! It really works!!

Was really hoping this would work in my 4000 gallon pond...but it not do anything to clear up the green algae. Tried it for a month with no improvement in the water.

I received a new fresh bottle of Nualgi on July 2, 2023...today my pond is crystal clear again. I had used Nualgi back in 2018 to clear up a terrible algae bloom I couldn't get rid of. I fead reviews on Nualgi back then, ordered it and I had a crystal clear pond within 2-3 weeks, as I recall. This year I started my pond up mid June as had been so cold in the spring...then it got terribly hot right after and I had pea soup in my pond right away. It was so green you couldn't see the poor little goldfish. I tried everything including a complete water change and vacuum of the interior; and, I had pea soup again in a couple days. Nothing I had on had would clear it up (I had thrown out my old Nualgi as figured it was old). Ordered a fresh bottle of Nualgi on July 1, and now, 8 days later, I have a crystal clear pond for the 1st time this year. Thank you Nualgi. I love this stuff...just have a little patience...it sure has worked for my little 100 gal pond.

It really didn't work as well as the advertising claimed. I was so hopeful and I also get my pond professionally serviced twice a year. All I was expecting was a little additional help over and above the weekly additives and regular skimmer cleanouts done as required. I think I will just stick to what I had been using as this product only seemed to be money down the drain.
