Green Lantern: Wanted - Hal Jordan (Green Lantern (2005-2011))

Great way to fill-in your Geoff Johns/GL collection!
Really a great read for GL fans. Leads into the Sinestro Corps War quite nicely...Geoff Johns is definitely my favorite superhero author! Any GL fans or Geoff Johns should pick this up as the last volume between "Rebirth" and the Sinestro Corps War (volume 1 "Nor Fear" and volume 2 "Revenge of the Green Lantern" should fill it in). From there, you'll definitely wanna finish Johns' run on GL through the Blackest Night and the Rise of the Third Army". Not quite as epic as the War of Light and the Blackest Night, but it does really help to re-establish Hal Jordan as Green Lantern, and Johns' storytelling is second-to-none!

Sinestro Corps wants you!
Pretty cool story in which Hal Jordan is framed for murder on international borders. The world is seeying him as a menace. On top of that someone has put a price on his head. Whom?. You'll find out here.In that same arc we can see Sinestro Corps recruiting. Check ou the interesting choices they made. Priceless!!!.There's a second arc in which the power of the Star Saphire and a little bit of the Guardians past is seen. Very informative!. This not only help To the Sinestro Corps arc but maybe even Blackest Night. For the price I paid, this is easy 4 stars. Good content, great fun and reasonable price.

Good Continuation
This was a pretty good continuation of the Green Lantern Rebirth series. For those who were unsure (because Amazon doesn't appear to include the order in which these books are supposed to be read), the Rebirth series kicks off the newest arcs and should be read in the following order:RebirthNo FearRevenge of the Green LanternsWanted Hal JordanSinestro Corps War Vol. ISinestro Corps War Vol. 2Secret OriginRage of the Red LanternsAgent OrangeThe Blackest NightThe Blackest Night Green Lantern

Good Story, then OK Story
I found the first half of the book with the Wanted storyline to be very good. I found that both the art and the pacing was very well done and kept you hooked. The second half of the book, the Star Sapphire storyline, kind of plods along and is mostly just setting the groundwork for future storylines. Also, the artist changed so I found the style shift to be particularly jarring. It's not that the artwork was bad, it's just quite the shift from the first half that you kind of think you're almost reading an entirely different comic.

modern green lantern
Interesting storyline. I enjoyed the fact it stayed close to the plot and didn't deviate to any side stories or plots too much. Good introduction to the modern Green Lantern.

Ready for Sinestro Corps War!
Awesome lead up to the main event, this volume is worth getting simply because of the Star Sapphires, awesome interaction between Cowgirl and Carol Ferris as well as Hal Jordan... Check it out!

Building up
Wow, what a fantastic ending in this one, massive build up for future events to come and a pretty big twist. Can't recommend it enough! The artwork is great on both stories, but I ended up liking the second one more since it's basically been Ethan Van Sciver all the time, not saying that his stuff isn't great, but it's fun to mix it up once in a while. My favorite part of the book is the second story. I'm happy that I started reading Green Lantern, I picked up Rebirth and found it so hard to read since I didn't know anything about Green Lantern before. So I stopped half way through, and tried to read it again a whole year later and it blew my mind - so good! Now that I think about it, I stopped reading Flash Rebirth half way through too. Maybe I should give that a go too...

Hal has a high price on his head.
First 4 issues have a mystery character (don't want to spoil it for you) put a high price on Hals head so lots of people try to catch him and bring in the $$$'s. Some decent action sequences with Hal still having his name blackened due to when he was host of Parallax. Last 3 issues are a final run up to the Sinestro corps war with the explanation of how the Star Sapphires were created and their new intentions.
