Need to admit that I was skeptical. I spend so much time using a computer that I developed tendinitis in my elbow and severe pain in my neck and shoulders. The directions were easy to read and the schematic (pictures) on where to place the pads along with the details in each particular setting allowed me to choose which option was best for me. I adjusted settings and intensity and felt relief in my shoulders and neck after a few minutes. I finally slept through the night without waking up with sharp pains in my neck. I use it approximately one hour before I go to sleep and found the unit to be a difference maker.

This thing is small but mighty. I hurt my back while snowboarding, and on day 1 I was in so much pain I couldn't stand/walk (I literally had to crawl, yelling in pain, to bed). My doctor they prescribed me muscle relaxers and pain-killers (which I refused, because opioid prescription/use is out of control) and told me I needed to go to a chiropractor / physical therapy. I tried a muscle relaxer and it didn't do anything for me. I scheduled a chiropractor appointment but the soonest slot was a few days out.My sister told me about Tens units and I ordered one next-day delivery. For me, it's not a cure-all but it really helps. Via a combination of shocking my back with this, applying a CBD balm (which I know doesn't work for some point but was a miracle balm for me), and taking epsom salt baths, I was able to manage my pain using zero painkillers while my back healed. And now, I'm doing core exercises and my back is feeling better than it was prior to the snowboarding accident.For the uninitiated: I wasn't sure what to expect (I didn't know if I would even feel much of anything, etc.) but it shocks you and causes your muscles to contract/relax almost like a massage. I turned it up to 40% once briefly and it was too strong for prolonged use (30% is all I can handle). I can't imagine anybody turning this thing up to the max; it would be insane. Anyway, aside from minor tickling sensation, it feels really relaxing.This unit is shockingly (no pun intended) nice for the price. It has a rechargeable battery, the interface is easy enough to use, and it includes multiple types/sizes of pads and instructions on how/where to place them on your body based on what symptom you're trying to treat. The battery lasts a long time, and mine came charged and ready to rock (always nice to pull a unit out of the box and not have to charge it for first-time use!). Anyway, if you're trying to treat pain, give this a try. It (along with a bunch of other stuff) really helped me.
