Work OK
These were thicker than laces being replaced which made fit tight. But function OK. The “clip” used at end of laces fits poorly. But overall a decent set of laces. Made in Japan.

X-2 elastic shoelaces
I know I'm getting old because lacing shies the old fashioned wat had become bothersome. Bought these for a pair of running shoes and 2 pair of golf shoes. I learned some trisks while installing them.First, pay attention to how the manufacturer had installed the original laces. You want to insert the laces the same way. If the went thru the eyelets top to bottom, do the same with these.Tryy to get the ends even with each other after pitting them thru the bottom eyelets on the shoes. I then pushed them into each next eyelet pair LOOSELY until all necessary eyelets are filled. Then put the shoes on your feet. Starting ay the bottom, tighten each roe to your preferred snugness. Do each eyelet row until done. You can then install the locking button on each lace. DON'T CUT THE ENDS YET.Walk around a bit to ensure the fit is right. I wore them for an hour to ensure i liked how they felt and to let them stretch (if they do). Once you are saisfied the fit is good, you can cut the ends off leaving enough to allow the button to slide.and install the end containers. When installing the end containers, be sure the ends are cut cleanly (no frays allowed.) Put the lace ends in side by side, paying attention they align with the little teeth. Once satsfied thats correct, fold over and snap shut. Ensure it is fully closed. Depending on your finger strength, you may have finish closing it with a pair of pliers.I've tried other brands and styles (some don't come with adjusting buttons.) These are the best i have tried.
