Super thick and beautiful! Bought a second because I loved it so much!

So I got this rug about 4 months ago now. I bought it because I loved the design, colors, and the fact that it is a shag rug - it checked all my boxes for what I was looking for! I got it and it unrolled flat immediately.Softness: At first I thought it wasn’t very soft, it was starchy and kind of scratchy. But after vacuuming it for the last few months, it has softened right up! Feels like walking on a cloud now.Color: It’s black so NO STAINS EVER. Like seriously, this was the main reason I bought the rug! And it’s a true black, not a dusty trying-to-be-black color.Ease to clean: Ok so it’s way easier than my other shag rug to vacuum. I can actually push and pull the vacuum without it getting stuck. However, the thick pile hides everything. I end up using the tool to get crumbs out and sometimes just shake the whole thing upside-down to get them all out. Now, it’s shag, and that’s just what you get with shag. I’m a sucker for it! if I didn’t let my kids roam the house with snacks or let my husband eat in there, this probably wouldn’t even be an issue.I only write reviews after I’ve spent some time with my purchase and can pass on what I’ve learned. And what I’ve learned is that I should have bought a black rug as soon as I had kids - and that I shouldn’t have agonized over whether or not to buy this rug bc it is 100% awesome.

First I'll start with the negatives!The rug arrived late. It wasn't packed in an appropriate box just a dirty plastic bag. It was thrown over my gate and ripped, as you can see. NOT HAPPY!!Outside of that the rug is dope!!! I got the 5 X 7 and it fits just right in my space. It adds a beautiful statement to the room. It's crazy plush and doesn't have a strong smell like other rugs. It flattened out right away and is super comfy without a matt. However, a rug matt will be needed to keep it from sliding around the floor.Outside of the crappy deliver the rug is awesome!

Overall the product is really great for the price and quality. I was originally looking at a rug for over double the price so I was very happy to have came across this one. I read the reviews on this product prior to purchase, and like others have stated the smell that the rug has upon opening is very strong. After about a week or so the smell has since dissipated, so I don’t see this as too much of a problem since the smell did go away.

It's a rug! It's shaggy, plush, floofy, and thick. Took a few days for the corners to uncurl but it's flat now. I have it over one of those felt rug pads, which keeps it from slipping around and adds a little extra insulation between the cold tile floor and your feet. It's in my office and I actually power napped on it once. I haven't owned many rugs, last one was an Ikea rug just after college. This one is MUCH nicer.

We have a cream/black rug of similar design in our dining room so I wanted to grab one that complimented it for the sunroom and this rug was the winner. Really cute and fluffy. I'd give it 5 stars if it didn't smell so weird. First like a chemical then later on like salt n vinegar chips. (I thought it was one of the kid's feet! NOPE.) Even after Febreeze and baking soda the smell returns. Bummer. I'm going to keep trying to deodorize it. Otherwise, a nice rug at a good price. Last thing: make sure you grab a rug pad to keep it from sliding all over.

I just received the rug and I like it very much - really "pops" in my neutral color living room. The odd thing was that it was delivered by UPS with a requirement for a signature of someone over 21 with an ID! What in the heck for? It's a rug! Good thing I was home on their 2nd delivery try. Other than that, it's a nice, soft, shaggy rug, with a bold design. Seems well-made.

Great rug for babies room. Very shaggy and fluffy. I love laying on it. Easy to vacuum but very dense. The “white part” is more like an off white. Overall a great rug for the price. Can not wait to see out little baby crawling on it.
