Set the on/off slider switch to "On."Press & hold the M menu button. Press the round Play button to select "Record Set."Press the rewind button (down arrow) once to highlight "VOR on/off" and press the round Play button.Press the rewind button (down arrow) once to select "VOR mode" to turn on or "Normal" to turn off.Press the M menu button until you are back to the main screen.Slide the red "Record" button up to start recording. If the recorder hears sound, it will record and you will see the time move. If it detects silence, the letters VOR will flash and recording will be paused until it hears something again.Hope this helps!

I did a quick reformat on windows. Works fine now.

Dear customer, you can delete recordings easily by the following steps.a.When the recording files are displayed, press Pre/Next key to select the file to be deleted. b.Press and hold any one of Volume+ Volume- key to enter next step. c.Press again Pre/Next key to select No/Yes/Delete(delete all), press Play key to confirm the operation. To pause and restart a file, you just need to press the play key when it is playing or suspended.
