It was hard to figure out what this book was going to be about by the descriptions and reviews. It's a dictionary about horses.. It gives definition of ailments, Anatomy, training, accessories, history, and types of horses, etc. in alphabetical order. Not something you would read from cover to cover. And there are pictures but not like something you'd want to pick up and look through.It wasn't exactly what I was looking for. But I guess it would be a good book to have if you have a horse.It does have a lot of information in it.

I would recommend this book to any horse lover. This book is amazing because it includes so much information that is really informative and detailed. I just wish it had some more information about horse boots but its not a big deal. Overall this is a great book.

Very entertaining just to sit down and go through it. Comprehensive, attractive. Love it. (However is not an in depth type ; but gives enough of an overview to make one look further to explore the subject in more detail if the reader is so inclined)

I love the book. It is informative, instructive and walks you through every aspect of riding a horse. It talks about breeds explaining which breed would be best suited to your riding style.
