Looks ridiculous but the only thing that works as a side sleeper!
Frequent traveler here writing this to help my fellow side sleepers - I've tried all the popular ones and THIS is the pillow. I've had it for years and I rely on it. It's been to India, China, South Africa many times. Lifesaver on long flights! You will look silly and it's not incredibly convenient to carry around, but it's the only pillow I've found that supports my head sufficiently. It's like a neck brace and that's what I need! With other pillows, even those marketed for side sleepers, my neck would always end up too crooked as the pillow compressed under the weight of my head, or I would flop forward because there was no chin support. This will hold your head upright and give you the sensation of laying on your side. I love that I don't have to "pick" a side like many side-sleeper travel pillows. I also love I am still able to wear over the ear headphones with it too. I recommend bringing a roll-up compression bag to store it during your trip!(They've released an inflatable version that I keep hoping to snag too, but it's often out of stock.)

A travel pillow that actually works.
I have used a small personal pillow, long inflatable pillow, horseshoe style pillow and memory foam collar style pillow, and I always had difficulty sleeping and awoke with neck pain. I recently used this pillow on a 10 hour international flight. Was it perfect? No, but it worked better than any of the other pillows.Pros: 1. The pillow supports the head well and does not let it fall forward or side to side. 2. No neck pain after sleeping for several hours. 3. Pillow does not push the head forward. 4. The adjustment strap allowed for a good fit. 5. Appears to be well made.Cons: 1. May be too warm for some users.

Good choice for travel pillow
I have had a hard time finding a good travel pillow but this one seems to be the best of what's out there. It can fit pretty snug around your neck- which is a good thing! My chin fell into the little opening when it was closed and not tight enough. I made an adjustment and it was pretty smooth sailing for taking a nap. No neck pillow is going to be amazing (my own opinion) but this is one I'll continue to travel with because it does it's job well. There's also not much pressure on your mouth/teeth when you lean your head forward and rest on the front part which has been an issue for me in the past with other neck pillows.

Kind of bulky, mildly comfortable, you look a freak
I really liked this product's attempt at redesigning the neck pillow but I'm just not sure it was executed properly. The basic theory is that it braces your head so it doesn't flop all over the place. In reality, there's too little support and your head ends up flopping anyway. There's no padding on the back, which is different from what you expect out of a pillow. It remains kind of bulky even when you pack it away. It's not really ideal for any situation and definitely not worth the 25 bucks I spent on it. Plus you kind of look like a freak when you wear it, which I'm okay with, as long as I'm comfortable. But I wasn't really that comfortable so it wasn't worth it in the end.

Must Have Travel Pillow!
I took this on a flight to Italy from California. Let me say that this pillow saved me! I was the only one in my group that did not have a standard donut style travel pillow and I slept better and was far more comfortable than anyone else. I was able to get a deep sleep during most of the flight. The pillow allowed me to either sleep straight away or lean left or right in total comfort. It helped to keep my head propped up and prevent it from falling forward. It was soft and cushy and also helped with noise reduction. You can adjust the strap for a tighter fit which I liked. My daughter asked to use it halfway through the flight and only then was able to get some solid sleep. I highly recommend this travel pillow. Out of all of the travel items I purchased for the long trip to Italy, this was by far the best and most beneficial. I’m so happy I purchased this item!

I like
Pretty good. This is like having a pillow strapped to your face. Of course works best with window seat and second best with head rest curved slightly to lean you head against. Make sure you put your seat back slightly, otherwise you will still fall forward while trying to sleep. For extra support, I also packed a neck pillow and would squeeze the neck pillow underneath this thing in the front which helped keep my neck straight and made for a more snug fit. Product could be improved by adding more material and padding to the bottom so it can rest on the shoulders/collarbones to better support neck (eliminating need for extra neck pillow in front). I liked this thing pretty snug, which slightly fatigued my jaw muscles, especially if squeezing an extra neck pillow in. Still, feeling relatively “well” rested after a 24hour travel day yesterday in huge thanks to this thing and window seats.

This is THE ONE
I am a side sleeper and frequent international traveler, and before using this pillow I would squash a full-sized memory foam pillow into my carry-on and make sure I had a window seat for long-haul flights. The big innovation here is the face cradle. No matter how expensive the u-shaped travel pillow, I always wound up with neck pain, and could only sleep for a few minutes at a time since my chin would fall forward eventually. Other reviewers have suggested it looks stupid but I care far less about what people think of me than getting some rest over the Pacific Ocean. It can be a little warm because there is fabric on the back, but I tend to find cabins too cold anyway, so that’s a plus for me. The only downside for me is that I have to take it off to be able to hear someone speaking to me, as the side panels cover the ears.
