One of my faves!
In addition to being what I always use for my hand knits and hand wash delicates, this works great for travel. I used it all during a two week river boat cruise and it worked for everything--even getting blueberry stain out of tan chinos. Since you don't need to rinse it out of the item you are washing (really, you don't) it means less handling of delicate items and much less hassle to hand wash items while traveling.

The only wool wash for me!
I am the owner of Chickadee & Me, an Etsy shop specializing in recycled wool diaper covers for babies and toddlers. This is the product I have been using for years and always recommend to my customers. This size will obviously last a VERY long time, so don't be put off by the high price. It is much cheaper than buying individual bottles if you have a lot of wool to wash. Do yourself a favor and buy the Eucalan Fine Fabric Wash Gallon Jug Pump , or you will regret it by the mess you make trying to pour out of such a big jug. I have over 500 wool sweaters (from thrift stores) on hand for my business at all times. I have prewashed all of them in lavender Eucalan and hang them up until I have need of them. I have never once seen a moth in my home thanks to Eucalan. I am certain that if I just hung them up straight from the thrift store, I would have certainly had a moth problem by now. The Eucalan keeps them smelling great, adds softness, and protection. Once I've finished a product, I wash it again in the Eucalan plus some extra lanolin and am very pleased with the results.

I love the smell, but be aware this is not a natural lavender smell
I am addicted to the smell of Eucalan wool wash. I sometimes even use this to wash my normal clothes if they are something I want to preserve for a longer period of time. This gallon jug is a better deal than the small bottle packages. But I want to warn anyone who is expecting this to smell like real lavender, it doesn't. It smells more like baby body wash. Mild but very pleasant. Eucalan wool wash is also one of the best soap I have used with the extremely hard water I get. My clothes sometimes still comes out dirty from the washer, but Eucalan cleans everything like a charm. It eliminates odor much more efficiently than when I just wash my stuff in the washer as well.

So easy and safe and will save you money on your cleaning bills
I live this product. Being in a 150 person knitting guild I found out about it years ago it is far better to wash your wool and knitted items with Eucalon than to send them to the cleaners. The cleaners use chemicals. Eucalon leaves a lovely fresh aroma when finished. I knitted 4 blankets for my grandchildren 2 years ago and told them to give them to me at their birthdays so I could wash them each year. You don’t even have to worry about getting all the Eucalon out after washing.

Eucalan is my favorite!
Eucalan is my go-to fiber wash for sweaters and all my knitted garments! I love the lavender scent, which is not overpowering, and the way the sweaters feel upon drying. I do sometimes rinse the sweaters and follow up with a second round of Eucalan, but it’s not necessary. I just enjoy the process. I ordered the gallon size because I use it often and the price per ounce is much lower this way. When I give a knitted gift, I like to fill a small bottle with this to give along with it. It makes it easy for recipients to avoid throwing the knitted garment in the washing machine by mistake :-)I do also bring a travel bottle of this for washing quick-dry garments when traveling internationally.

best wool wash on the market
Eucalan is the best wool wash on the market. Mileage will vary on the scent; others will prefer the unscented or eucalyptus variety. We've used it for years for woolen diaper covers for cloth diapers when the kids were babies, for woolen mattress pads, sweaters, scarves, all of it.This size would obviously be awkward for travel, but per ounce is the most economical size they sell.

Does a beautiful job!
3rd time I’ve purchased. I mainly use to wash woolens, but started using it regularly for delicates. Scent is there without being overpowering and you can always purchase the scent-free.

Package condition
I received my Liter jug of Eucalan Lavender today. The box was completely opened. The inside of the box was wet and smelled of Eucalan. The bag containing the jug of Eucalan was covered in the soapy liquid and pooled at the bottom. The top of the bottle is not screwed on tightly. I do not know exactly where the leak has occurred. I have removed the jug in the plastic bag from the box and placed it on my kitchen counter cutting board, it appears that the leak is still occurring as the board is not wet. I believe a significant amount of soap has leaked out and at $52.29, I am not happy about the condition in which the jug was received. I have enclosed pictures of the box and jug. Other than the condition of the packaging, I love Eucalan for washing my handmade woolen items. Thank you for any assistance you can give me.<IMG_0202.jpg><IMG_0201.jpg>

Perfect for delicate fabrics
This is fantastic. Great for hand washing or machine washing, and also works just by soaking. No need to rinse.
