1% Retinol Cream 1.7oz

I took a chance on this product since it didn't have any reviews yet. I've been using it for 3 weeks. I'm approaching 40 and have fine lines around my eyes and on my forehead. I'm a little oily and acne prone. Within I few days of using this, the pimples I had before starting were diminishing. On days 5-7 I got small pimples on my cheeks and forehead. This was the purging stage. They were gone within a couple of days. Around day 8, my skin finally got a little flaky and that sloughed off by the next day. No more flaking after that one time. I should say though, my skin is pretty tough when it comes to peels. I've never gotten any type of peeling or flaky from even the strongest peels that are sold in drug stores. I have to go to a specialist to get anything strong enough to make my skin peel. Now, at week 3, my skin is smoother and softer for sure. My wrinkles are not as noticeable but I think that is mainly because when your skin is moisturized, wrinkles soften. I will continue using because it's one of the few products I've used that didn't give me cystic acne on my chin. I wish they had a 2% cream. I really want something that gives me a good peel.
