One of the most enduring and beloved trilogys that I have ever read. I purchased this 3 in 1 copy as my original paperbacks had disintegrated with use. Elgin has captured every aspect of her characters and their world with deft humor and witty dialogue, her descriptions vivid and picturesque. I like to think of Responsible of Brightwater as my alter-ego. Not me as I really am.......but me as I wish I was.....

j'ai été très agréablement surprise par cette trilogie, que j'ai trouvée beaucoup plus amusante que native tongue ; j'ai eu du mal à poser le livre, je voulais savoir ce qui allait se passer.

Long wandering tale that takes forever and a day to get to its point. I almost DNF but the last section picked up and moved to and through a reasonably satisfying climax.

I ran across the 1st volume in a consignment store and found out it was part of a trilogy so I had to have the complete set.
