Virtual Reality Galaxy Gift Box - Illustrated Interactive VR Book and STEM Learning Activity Set

I gor this as a christ.as present for my son. This was such a cool thing to use. Informational and he loved it

I wanted to adore this. Sometimes, when it works, it's pretty cool - you put a phone into the glasses and stare at a page until it loads some VR info to immerse you. Great for little minds right? I'm surprised, though, that my kid wasn't super into it and hasn't really asked to do it more. In fact, he's more interested in the extras that come with it, it seems.Part of this is the app is junk, which is required for the VR obviously. It doesn't work on all the pages. There are also zero instructions or ways to troubleshoot - you just kind of stare at the page and hope it loads. The VR clips itself are fine, though nothing interactive and amazing. It seems like the app does have some interactive experiences however they absolutely do not work for us. Judging by all the 1-star reviews on the app store, we are not alone.The biggest thing (pun intended) is you can't use a modern large phone. So we had to dig out an old iPhone 6 we had lying in some drawer and its battery lasts about 10 minutes a go. I didn't notice anything about that when deciding to buy this, which is also unfortunate.So, it comes with a great book and some side activities, and when it works it's interesting for a bit. Prepare to be frustrated and under-whelmed though. Cautiously recommended, and not worth the price.

As a homeschool teacher/parent I can honestly tell you that nothing comes close to the Abacus Virtual Reality series for VR learning! And this new Galaxy edition is no different when it comes to intellectual advancement and outright educational thoroughness.But even beyond that, it’s beautifully designed to stimulate their creativity and inspire their Ingenuity and Will to think outside the box. I love how the program is crafted so my kids growing desire to interact gives birth to more new interest of information, which in turn, makes them crave more interaction to achieve more stimulating info.It’s a delightful catch twenty-two that helps their mind grow in outstanding ways, and before they even realize it, time has flown by and they are left wanting more stimulation of learning .The ingenious VR goggles, the colorful and highly informative publications, and even the personal one-on-one experiments included, make this complete set a refreshing cut above the rest.It works terrific with all of our IOS systems (iPhone, Mac Pro laptop and iPad), and they can shuffle from one device to the other without missing a beat. As a dedicated homeschooler, I couldn’t even begin to gather up all of the intriguing and vital lessons and tools into one place, and yet Abacus VR has achieved just that. Well done!!

I really like this product. It's the first time I ordered a VR product for my kids and we are really happy about it.The product set is well made. It has a book/magazine introducing some knowledge. When you download the APP to your phone, you could open it and put the phone in front of the VR glasses. Then as long as you see the book, you'll enter a VR world which makes you feel that you stand in a spaceship. And you could see different planets in the ship. There will be some educational voice coming from phone to explain what you're seeing.I used to take my kids to the California Science Center, and they could have some interactive learning experience with the things in that center. I feel that this product is doing the same thing. It's well made and once you put on the VR glasses, it gives the similar experience as you're in a science center. I play with our two kids (4 y/o and 6 y/o) very excitingly for an hour and we hope to play more. This product could be introduced to kids up to 12 y/o I think, or even bigger, depending on how well they could understand the knowledge.

I selected this for our homeschool curriculum, as my youngest is learning about our planet and the solar system. What a great find! Both my five year old and eight year old were enamored by the interactive experience of exploring the galaxy and its many attributes. I did have a small issue with the app, as my phone did not have enough available storage to install it- so my husband installed it on his phone. I appreciated that others can hear the narration of what is being shown on the VR goggles so that we can have a dialogue on what was just seen together. The value of this educationally rich experience certainly exceeds the product’s price point, it is definitely worth the investment to bring this into your classroom or home. My daughters have loved exploring each page of the book and are looking forward to completing the included solar system model at the end of our unit. Would recommend to others for sure and am very pleased with this product.

The media could not be loaded. Hotep friends, what I like about this set my friends is that it's very educational and the interview into the world of virtual reality. It's very interesting to learn about the solar system and the moon and the sun. I like the fact that it comes with its own virtual reality headset, it's a great deal you bet.
