Exam Ref 70-742 Identity with Windows Server 2016

Epitome of text book written too quickly, just for profit. In addition to literally just making false claims that directly contradict Microsoft documentation (ex. - Global Security Groups can contain users from anywhere in the forest - p. 64), many important details are just plain missing, and pages upon pages are taken up with large images of screenshots detailing the simplest of operations (showing feature installs in the GUI for example; sections where you find 4-6 pages of large screenshots with a caption per page saying things like "Check the box that says...click next") as filler. Literally one of the worst text books I've ever owned (4 + years post graduate education, 10 years as Sysadmin). I didn't buy a text book so I could spend time fact checking it. Imagine people who've gotten test questions wrong because of this carelessness.

Passed the test with this and ITProTV.Of the two, I believe this book prepared me better for the test, as it it spends less time on explaining the concepts and focuses more on actual configuration.While it is possible to pass the test with this book alone, you may need to go through Microsoft docs to really get an edge going into the test.

I wish I had gotten this book instead of the pearsonvue book.... I failed the exam with a 600 after rigorously studying the pearsonvue book. I bought this book today and I've already identified at least six exam questions I would have gotten correct if this was the book I had purchased(as these were not covered in pearsonvue.) This is overall the better buy and is in a way more digestible format than the pearson vue book as well. The exam 70-740 pearsonvue book was great, but the 741 and 742 are written in the most uninteresting manner.

Necesitaba este libro de apoyo para mis estudios de preparación del MCSA.Esta en ingles pero fácil de entender, con ejemplos y preguntas de repaso.Me compre al fina los tres libros para completar el MCSA 2016.

È un libro quasi completo. Quasi, perché altri libri parlano di tutto Windows server 2016. Questo è ideale per preparare l esame. Lo preso scontato. Forse il prezzo pieno è leggermente eccessivo. Lo consiglio.
