So easy to put together and the price was amazing. I was replacing a very well worn very tall cat tree that my girls have had for 9 years. They love this one!

Kittens absolutely love it. They found the toys. They play all over it.

Has not stood the test of time as it's been 2 months and our less than one year old kittens have already torn through it. However, for the price I was expecting that. Would make a good purchase for more "casual" scratchers.

The media could not be loaded.  Hi! I took advantage of Prime Day and purchased this post for a stray kitten recently abandoned. It’s a girl tabby that is now approximately 6-7 weeks of age and weighs 3.14 Ibs (per her last vet visit). When I first saw this kitten post I knew we had to have it! The design and size made it the perfect starter post for her. The perches are a perfect fit for her tiny size, it was small enough so she won’t have to worry about my ‘big boys’ (17 & 20 lbs) using it AND… the deal clincher was it came with a cheese wheel toy (her favorite type of toy)!!! More than anything, I wanted something she could call her own and know that she is now safe in her forever home. This was it! Vespa (that’s her name) and her whopping 3.14 pounds of flying daredevil high energy absolutely loves loves loves this post!!!!!!!THE TESTER:- 6-7 week old female kitten at 3.14 pounds- Activity level: High, super activePRO:- Designed to handle “kitten” size and weight- Easy to assemble. The box arrived and although instructions were included, assembly is pretty much self explanatory. Including the base you have a total of 7 pieces to assemble with 3 hexagon screws and a hex-key allen wrench that is also provided. Definitely tighten up the screws to make the post more sturdy. The whole assembly process takes under 5 minutes.- Cosmetically the post is cute and looks darn good- Compact size and 3-tiers makes it great for small spaces.- Overall size makes it portable and easy to move around- The fabric is soft and easy to clean. (*was able to remove Sharpie ink from it w/alcohol & soap)- The different tier heights are perfect for a kitten and on the mark.- Hanging mice toys are included and pre-installed- Scratching posts are OK. Mine are mostly used as a climbing aid or attacking- The cheese wheel toy is the best feature! –Best thing ever to swat, saddle and keep kittens entertained.- It was a Prime Day deal at a great price.- Vespa loves it mainly for playing and sleeping.- The height and location makes it her favorite “TV chair”CON:- Construction is adequate, design is flawed. Cosmetically it’s cute and looks darn good, but it’s a bit on the cheap side. The fabric is rather thin and lightly glued on the underside with the hanging toy mice stapled. The “engineered wood” is particle board, possibly low density fiberboard which is maybe 3/4” inch thick. The entire unit is supported on a 19.5” square base of the same “wood” making it poorly leveraged and likely to tip with the right amount of force or weight.- Unsuitable & unsafe for larger cats.- It’s relatively stable for small kittens however, the hexagon screws could use washers to help distribute the weight load and keep sturdy for bigger kitties. Thankfully, it’s currently not an issue for Vespa’s 3+ pounds of stalking & launching, but there will reach a tipping point as she gets bigger & heavier, that I’ll need to install washers and start looking out for a new post. I’ll update as things change.- Too little space between tiers for larger “kittens”.- As a scratching post the design leaves only 2 out of 3 tier accessible w/sufficient space and sisal rope for scratching- As a scratcher, it may work for some kittens but mine doesn’t seem to care for it. She’s more of a carpet princess right now.- Durability may partially depend on the aggressiveness, size and weight of your kitten, but this is NOT a “cat” post. This is more suitable to small kittens as a starter post. I anticipate Vespa to outgrow it within 6-12 months.Overall, I’m still happy with the purchase and Prime Day exclusive deal price. The post is cute & something Vespa can call her own for now.--------------------------------⚠️ Updated 7/23/2023: I almost thought I had to take Vespa to the ER for a broken leg. It’s that type of cry you hear that gets your heart pounding. While she loves playing on the wheel, she managed to get her left hind leg caught in one of the holes and was hanging awkwardly upside down and afraid to move. Thankfully, she didn’t break the leg but she did limp afterwards, so a cold gel pack was applied to take care of any pain and potential inflammation. – TBH, I think she was more frightened by the event than anything. Half an hour later she was back walking & bouncing around like normal as if nothing happened. Because she really loves this kitten post, it was easier for me to “modify” the wheel than to deal with returning the item. The wheel was removed and used as a pattern to cut the shape from the shipping box, cover it with felt I had handy and stapled it down. The wheel was screwed back and things are back to normal. - Just because it hasn’t happened to your kitten, doesn’t mean it can’t or won’t. I sure as heck never thought it would happen to mine even after reading the reviews. So keep that in mind and always supervise a kitten’s play. ⚠️

I’ve been waiting awhile to write the review to see how the tower would fair against a family of rough and tumble rescues. I am pleased to finally write the review! Let’s begin by setting the scene. I have a family of rescues who are wary of toys, rip carpeted items to shreds, knock over towers until the cardboard breaks, and snub cat beds. I took a chance on this tower, as I’ve tried other smaller towers before with limited success. Well, this was a hit!!!! They LOVE it. They snooze on the towers, claw at the scratch rope, and attack the mice. The best part? They love the ball toys! I figured they would ignore it since they’ve never played with such toys before. They love it. They’ll have one paw through the top and one through the side and be hanging sideways to get to the balls. Best toy ever.In terms of sturdiness, I don’t expect it to last a terribly long time since they do play rough and since such towers are rarely made with more than cardboard, but so far it is holding up reeeeeally well. It has lasted longer than any other tower so far with no signs of wear. I’m very impressed! So impressed that should it wear at some point, I will definitely order another one.The only thing I wish is that all of the poles were wrapped with scratch rope rather than just the tall one. They like to scratch the poles and don’t necessarily check to see if there’s rope on each pole before they scratch. Rope around each would be perfect. That said, it’s something an owner can add on their own fairly easily which is what I’ll be doing soon for their scratching pleasure.All around this is a great purchase. Fantastic price, quality, and design. A huge thank you from a little family of happy rescues.

I was so disappointed in this product. I purchased it because I liked how the perches are like steps for my senior cat who can’t jump too high. The measurements were exactly what I was looking for and the picture (of what looked like an adult cat on it) led me to believe it was perfect for my 10 lb. cat. Unfortunately, he couldn’t even fully sit on one of the perches comfortably. And the top perch shook when he was on it. I couldn’t tighten it enough to get it to stop shaking. I didn’t expect the best quality for the price, but I at least thought my cat would be able to curl up on a perch or sit on it to look out the window.

Excellent quality. Platforms are a bit small, best for cats under 12 pounds. Would definitely recommend
