Verarbeitung mies

Not too impressed
Maybe it has to do with them forcing 3 drives in a small space, but the led fell off, and it is very very difficult to get the drive sut. It seems like 3 is pushing it... It may be me, but looking back I would have purchased a 2 drive bay instead.

difficult to remove drives
i love the concept and bought two so i could have six hot swap sata SSDs up front in my server case.problem is that it's always a struggle to pull out the drives because they get stuck inside. i think some mechanisms in there needs improvement. these work with only thin size ssd drives like the samsung 870 evo which is what i was using with them.note that the power connector end needed from your power supply to juice up this model is the type used for floppy drives from the 90s.

Good but limited drive options and flimsy trays
The good thing about this drive bay is that it fits in the area that used to be for a floppy drive, so if you have a case that still has that kind of bay, it's perfect. In my case, I had an empty bay that wouldn't quite fit a full 3.5" drive due to some non-standard fails, but I was able to slip this in the space perfectly. The cage itself is metal and nicely made but the little trays that hold the drives are made of very soft metal and bend VERY easily so be careful installing the drives. The hotswap capability isn't very useful because you have to screw the drives into the trays with at least 2 screws, 4 better. (Only 2 screws included for each tray). So even though you can pop the trays in and out easily, you can't easily change drives unless you have extra trays (no idea if those are available). Finally be aware that it's designed for 7mm high (thick) drives. Typical SSDs will fit fine and some hard drives . I was hoping to use this for 2.5" drives I'd pulled out of old laptops - but only one of several was thin enough to fit. You might be able to squeeze on 9mm drive in there but definitely not 3.So overall - if this particular use case is what you need, this could be great, otherwise it's kind of quirky.
