It is with great pleasure that I submit a review for Ellen Tadd’s book The Infinite View. It is a rich, well written and intelligent book, complex and nuanced and right for both the experienced spiritual seeker and for those who have never contemplated spiritual matters at all.The book offers practical techniques and procedures to obtain deep focus, deep listening, and other skills to enrich a meditation practice that goes way beyond stillness and relaxing. These practices can truly change a life. With Ellen’s entertaining stories of her own journey and relationship with her guides over time, the reader is drawn in and curious about all that the book holds.The Infinite View is a roadmap for guidance with the foundation being an ability to become highly attuned and cultivate a deep sensitivity to discern information to make the most sensible and spiritually aligned choices. She emphasizes that it is only through a disciplined practice that we can develop these skills and offers a great system of mediation techniques to attain this.Tadd explores important themes throughout the book such as first error – a trauma or situation that has resulted in patterns of fear that that has manifested itself in our past lives and our present incarnation – what she refers to as a “karmic snowball”. By understanding these patterns and root causes we can then begin to be aware of the fear based choices in our current life and to neutralized and treat them resulting in a more healthy, fulfilling and enriching life experience.Additional topics that Tadd explores in her book are the connections between our deepest desire and our deepest fear; working with consciousness; what aspects of our life are destiny and what are the aspects where we have choices; and understanding chakra system and how healing and strengthening the chakras can create greater balance.A book on spiritual development this high in quality, practicality, and readability is a rare thing and there is much to be gained from what Tadd has to offer in this text. Elegant, wise, profound. Ellen Tadd's book, "The Infinite View: A Guidebook for Life on Earth", is exactly that, a guide to living from a perspective of compassion, love, truth, and beauty. This book shows us with teachings and exercises, how to live in an expanded consciousness. The exercises really do work. I finally have ways to bring the focus of my consciousness to a far more comfortable and expanded state. Tadd teaches us how clarity is protection. She shows us how to achieve clarity and return to places of peace, hope, and love. Every time I read this book I feel lifted up and comforted. Finally, there are real ways I can live in congruence and alignment with Spirit. The spiritual principles so many of us have studied and pondered for so long, they are now truly accessible, attainable, and sustainable. Tadd and her guides teach us in this amazing book how to arrive at and maintain the wider and more expansive experience of higher consciousness. Read this book.

I picked up this book by chance, as it flashed across my recommended reading one night when I was browsing lazily over my phone while trying to pass some time.In a sea of books on psi, and related topics of "psychic" abilities and phenomenon, this is a book which shines through the dross as a book worth reading.With the above said this isn't a book which blew me away, but, i believe this to be the case as because I have been a practitioner and a student of the "occult" and similarly categorized topics for many years, so much of what i was reading was familiar to me. But i have to say that even though much of it was familiar, Ellen Tadd did a good job presenting it, she is an intelligent writer, that gets her point across in a few words, but doesn't loose the meatiness of the content which is there.If you are new or not hugely well read in "psychic" world view, and practices, i cant think of another book i would recommend you add to your "read next" list, then this text right here.The information she provides is real, practical and down to earth. I recommend it!

I've been a spiritual seeker since my mid 20's. For 40 years I've read numerous books, hung out with like minded friends and attended conferences etc to gain more knowledge throughout those years. But none of that has had the impact that this book has had on my evolution.... and I'm not done reading it yet. I would recommend this to everyone. Just one of the suggestions in this book could change your life for the better. Get it......

I had high hopes for this book, but seemed to fall short with basic information filled with stories and lots of words but not enough real ground breaking info or life changing.
