I purchased a DreamCloud mattress and slept on it for a month while I researched mattress covers. It is a cashmere top and I didn't know how I could do better than that, but wanted a pad with as much comfort as this mattress was giving me. I researched everything I could find. I thought I'd go with a wool one, but didn't want to spend $350+ for a pad! The reviews for a less expensive one said it fell apart in the wash. A brother told me he received free bamboo sheets with his memory foam mattress and how comfortable they were. I Googled Bamboo mattress pads and came up with this one. Read all the reviews, and liked the protection it gives WITHOUT NOISE. I've had it a couple weeks now. LOVE IT!!! The best pad i've ever had! Comfy, not hot, no rustling noise.

This mattress cover is great! There is no crinkling sound at all what so ever, and it is very soft. I was really surprised by how soft it was to be honest. Actually slept directly on this one night when the sheets weren't done drying yet. I bought a queen size and it fits really well, and covers the entire top of the mattress with the water resistant portion. There is some extra space along the sides, so if I decided to add a topper to the mattress at some point, there would be no problem having it still fit around the sides of the bed. I have an adjustable sleep number bed and have had no issues with it slipping off the corners when the head or feet are raised and lowered. As far as the water resistance goes, a glass was spilled on the bed, but nothing went through the cover into the mattress. I do wash this separate from everything else as it needs to be washed with no fabric softener and dried on low to not damage the lining. I also had to make sure the non-water resistant side was facing the drum and do a second spin cycle to get all the water out, but I expected this with any cover. Overall this is a really great mattress cover and well worth it, I highly recommend.

Bought this last year for my new mattress- after extensive research for a SAFE mattress protector. My husband was undergoing chemo, we have a toddler, and two dogs- and this protector WORKS. It washes well, and fits our pillow top style mattress that is on a adjustable bed frame. Doesn’t make any weird sounds, like the traditional protectors. I’m back to order the queen size spare bed.

I was astonished to get this quality mattress pad protector at a cost less than the model one level down. It does seem rather "plasticky" on the back side but I've not noticed increased sweating or heat because of this. I have no idea if it is waterproof but it seems like it would be. This was bought to cover a 100% natural latex mattress and I believe it's doing its job so far. I especially like that it fit well over the 9" mattress and 2 " topper without gapping or bulges or anything. My husband says he has noticed no issues with being too hot. I've wondered if it's heating the bed a little bit as I feel warmer but it's winter and warmer is good for now! We'll see when summer comes if it keeps us cool and actually breathes. The heat could be the mattress too so only time will tell. Overall I think quite pleased with this purchase. I washed it before using in warm water and like that it is washable AND dryable on low.

The cover fit well. It is virtually paper thin with a plasticized backing to keep the mattress from getting wet. When I think of a pad for an adult I normally want the pad to have a small amount of loft to save wear on the surface of the mattress. Any value of using bamboo is non-existent. Purchase was a mistake.

This mattress protector has been on our bed for over a year now and is holding up well. Luckily we've never had to find out if it actually works, but I have in the past with other SafeRest covers and they definitely do work. This one is not crinkly as some other cheaper covers are, and you really don't even know its on your mattress. It fits this deeper mattress without issue, too. Just make sure you care for it properly (wash and dry it correctly!) and it'll be just fine.

Spent a ton of time researching mattress covers for our new mattress before deciding on this one...Been using it for just over a month now. When it arrived I washed it on hot without fabric softner and dryed it on the delicate setting as per the instructions and had no issues at all.Don't even know it's there, don't hear it at all. The top has a nice feel to it, fits our queen perfectly (14.5 inch mattress) and stays in place. Fortunately we haven't had to test it's waterproof qualities. So far for us it is a great product at a great price.

This is not waterproof. I bought protectors for my kids’ beds. It crushed me to see each of my brand new mattresses stained because these did not protect the mattresses from accidents.

It's soft and easy to wash as per the directions, looks and feels great under the sheets. The fit is ample. I haven't actually tested it's water resistance so I gave it a 4 but I assume it works. I bought it to replace my previous one which was supposed to be water proof but turned out it wasn't.
