I previously had an 8channel box from Annke which worked great, plus setup and installation were easy, I got more Cameras to add and needed to buy a 16 Channel box so I got this and as always the same build quality, installation and setup was easy, can't go wrong with Annke.one problem I have is the box is whenever I power on my computer in the morning and launch the Client App sometimes it takes a while for the app to be connected to the box not sure why that happens even when I have switched off the auto DHCP and have setup a manual IP, anyway that's my only complaints but in general its a good budget system and the User interface is one of the better ones.

a waste of time and money for both Amazon and the Customer, The spec boasts that it will handle up to 16 analogue and 16 IP cameras, in practice, it handles just 2 IP cameras, I tried to add more, but the DVR simply says 'maximum 2 IP cameras, returned to Amazon, bought a Westshine DVR to replace this item and whilst it boasts up to 8 analogue and 8 IP cameras, it actually does do this!

It is early days, I admit, but I have found this product very easy to set up. Quality is good. I have yet to try the more sophisticated elements, but the important point is I found the customer support to be very responsive and helpful. This gives me great confidence in the product. Definitely recommend.

Technically this dvr works well. As one other review has stated the fan is noisy - too noisy for an occupied room. Could have returned the dvr in the hope that it would be replaced by a quieter model. Given that delivery took over four weeks I decided to buy and fit a replacement fan and now it runs at an acceptable level (barely noticeable).The software is good and easy to set up. The facility to use the cloud based system to monitor cameras using a mobile phone/tablet/laptop is excellent. Images on screen are sharp and colour rendering good, although this will largely be influenced by the quality of the cameras used.Overall, apart from the noisy fan the system has run reliably for the last six weeks and is highly recommended if you need a cost-effective cctv recording system. I would have awarded five stars had the fan noise been acceptable.

UPDATEI have now owned this "updated" 1080p DVR for a couple of weeks and am starting to notice it's shortcomings. I upgraded from the previous 960h model specifically to have 1080p cameras and this has been achieved, and you can record 16 channels at 1080p and then also playback 16 x 1080p on the screen in playback mode. The good points end there really.The firmware is nowhere near as good as the 1 year old 960h version, it's on par with the initial 2 year old 8 channel box i had ages ago.The pictures and info have now been updated to show only 6 RCA sound inputs instead of the initial misleading 16 sound inputs, and after buying three microphones I find that you cannot associate any camera number with a microphone like you could before - such as camera 16, uses camera 6 sound input... so why would you like to do that? - because if your cameras are in order around your premises and you want to put sound on any camera after camera 6 ( maybe camera 12 covering your garage ) - you can't.Also you can hear the sound when watching live if the TV is turned up to FULL volume, yet this box will still NOT record that audio to the hard drive to play back. So you can have burglars in your garage chatting for ages and not hear a word of it on playback, and yes - all the settings are enabled to allow full sound recording and there are no sound controls within playback at all.The fan is incredibly noisy, but I live with that and turn the tv up.It is an absolute doddle to set up on your phone and PC, but it's such a shame the BNC video output has gone, so had to spend more money cobbling together wiring to continue to watch upstairs.I emailed Sannce asking if any firmware updates will fix the sound issue, no answer to that - they have offered me a tenner refund or a return and full refund however, but I would like a firmware update to make it at least as good as my OLDER unit - no response to that.For the cost this unit offers a better video quality upgrade only, yet also disappoints on many levels - especially if you have had Sannce products before as I have and expected an " upgraded " system in all areas.Also, the playback speed is only 8x, again a backward step from the older unit of 16x - so it's half as quick when skimming through lots of footage looking for anything in particular and that makes a difference.I contacted Sannce asking for further information yet no reply at all - that's a shame this is my third CCTV system from them.So, I'm completely on the fence when it comes to recommending this unit - if you have not bought before then go ahead, it's a bargain,If you are looking to upgrade from the older 16channel 960h unit to 1080p then bear all my comments in mind and weigh up if you can live with worse software, worse sound function, slower playback yet WAY BETTER IMAGE QUALITY.Sadly I'm still undecided if I should return it and get a different brand.

The product is or right apart from one thing we canot set the password for the recording part of it I have tried it and my son cannot get it to work getting a bit pi. Of with it cauld you please tell me how to do it thanks d riley

Very nice received it on time The back up could be done just for the event only even for few minutes unlike the other what I have which backs up in blocks of 1./2 hr though I did not have time to put to rigorous testing External hard disc it picked up in no time Advance features of cloud which I have not yet gone in but I may buy another of the same once I have tested all the features but as it is I seem to like all the features it has14th Dec 14now I have reviewed the features on the net application In the net work I had to use the default IP address for the dvr If I select DHCP to find an IP all the top three spaces goes blank and I cannot insert any on them If I put my ip for dvr as ... 2 then I cannot view on my lap top when I insert that IP of the dvr I had given So I am using the default IP for the dvr and I can get it on my lap top. E cloud set up is easy once it is understood but it takes time On my mobile I am unable to down load the necessary application for unexplained reason even though the code being scanned and accepted by the mobile on e cloud viewer so no mobile viewing on that However by device number it works Remotely it works on the laptop but havenet had the chance to view on my mobile E mail and the rest I have not yet programmed it

Muy completo. Facil de instalar y de manejo. Un menu en varios idiomas para su mejor configuracion. Lo recomiendo como grabador.
