This was bought because I couldn't get a Mountain Warehouse gilet in my size, in black, to replace the one I had. I'm happy to confirm that the 30000ft version is the same fit, despite the strange size of 47.3" stated for the large. The gilet is of a good quality and is well made with lots of pockets. It is warm, I don't find it too long at 5'10" and 93kg. Fit is great with a tee shirt, or tee and light fleece. Hope this helps.

Great garment. Aside from the silly double zip configuration which is a very silly idea it’s a great fit and looks great.

The Gilet is great but the colour on the picture is not as it looks but dark Grey as described in writing. Very nice gilet though and have now bought a few more. Great to have the variety of pockets which is not so common .

Initially ordered a medium as other reviewers suggested gilet was very generous in size. Had to return as too small. Ordered my normal large size which fits me perfectly. I am delighted with the appearance and finish of the garment. It looks very smart and has a quality finish. Feels very comfortable on. Gilet is a little longer than most competitors which I like. Love the two way zip which allows easy adjustment if sitting either in car or indoors. Ample pockets for outdoor activity. Outer zipped pocket ideal for phone. Zipped inner for similar purpose if preferred. Handy outer velcro secured upper pocket. Two zipped side pockets with additional two larger inner lower pockets also available. Is not bulky and feels light on. I think In will get a lot of use from this garment and highly recommend it as I think I will prove durable. Good value gilet.

First off, this is a well-made gilet and has a nice weight to it. The double zips and pockets are great too. I'm 5"11, 85kg, broad shoulders and athletic build. I usually order an L as mediums are usually too tight around my thick chest and back. This L fits great in the chest area, just enough space to wear a hoody or jumper underneath. BUT, And this is a big but, the gilet is incredibly long. It rests under my buttocks. This look is fine when walking the dog, getting muddy and where I'm not so concerned about how I look as it's a very practical gilet. But it is not possible for me to wear this when meeting up with friends in town or going for a run due to that ridiculous length. I recommend ordering a size down if you want to avoid the over-sized look otherwise your actual size will be fine for trail walks, hikes or taking out the trash... I've removed the tags and worn it out for a dog walk so won't be returning it. It can still do a job, but it just won't be as versatile as I had hoped.

Bought this last year totally forgot to do reviews and I could see a comfortable really nice fit warmer than expected also fairly waterproof which is great to keep stuff dry in your pockets
