Awesome kits! They will stain surfaces and walls, be careful.
I’ve used these kits for almost 20 years. This color is darker than I usually get, but my other was not available. Results were similar to RR Medium Auburn.

GREAT color! Don't use the "refresher packet though"
This color is vibrant and beautiful! Wish I could still find it in the stores. Prices on here are pretty high considering it's $6 when it can be found in the stores! I still pay purchase it though because it lasts, has no ammonia and is pretty!

I look like a comic book character
Don’t do it!!! Go to a real hair salon! Unless you have black or the darkest brown hair on earth you will look like you belong in a marvel movie. It was $18 that will now cost me 100’s to fix. My hair is cartoon red/orange/pink.

Wonderful color - but DON'T use the Color Fresh conditioner included!
After Cancer and thyroid problems, I have gray roots that just won't maintain color. No matter what product I use - even professional salon color - my root color will completely wash out after 2-3 washes. My only hope is using those touch-up type sticks or brush on dyes to help tide me over until I can color again. The last time I tried a Garnier Sangria color, there was an obviously lighter coppery color streak about 1/2 inch on either side of the part line. So, I switched to this Natural Instincts Cherry Creme 30R and it covered beautifully! Finally, I had deep, rich red all the way to the roots. It comes out a cross between auburn and burgundy on my already auburn brown hair and it's just beautiful. Now, due to my issues with not being able to maintain color, I can't say how long this would last on the average person's hair, but I can attest to the beautiful, shiny, rich color. My word of CAUTION, however is this: If you are going red and doing so to cover gray hair, DO NOT USE THE COLOR FRESH CONDITIONER ENCLOSED! This is a conditioner product that Clairol encloses and it's labeled 2nd Week. The intention is to use it to add color back to your hair as it starts to fade from washing. However, this product, when scrubbed into my gray root line, turned the roots yellow! I tried like crazy to cover it up with the root touch up sticks for two weeks and finally just had to color again. When I washed my hair prior to coloring, I was astonished and very scared to see that the part line was STILL yellow. Whatever this conditioner did to my hair, it was not normal and apparently stained the gray roots so badly that it didn't even wash out - that's a big deal to someone who can't get any hair color to stay ON my roots - and yet now, I had this yellow stuck over the gray. I was very afraid that when I colored again, the red hair color over the yellow (and I do mean a bright, butter yellow) would turn the roots orange. Thankfully, that didn't happen. I can't say what will happen when I wash again, but I will have to be prepared with some kind of brown to hopefully cover the yellow if it does poke through again. All in all, this color is really beautiful and covers well. I just will never use the conditioner product again. (To be clear, this is not the conditioner in the white bottle that is just meant for softening, but rather the actual Color-fill product in the purple pouch that's labeled for 2nd week use)

Nice color, easy to use, but a little bit drying
I've read a lot of good reviews about the natural instincts semi-permanent colors so I decided to try this out. I have black hair and it is the first time I've ever died my hair. I almost thought that the color wouldn't show up at all on my dark hair but overall I'm happy with the results because it is clearly visible in the sunlight...Still looks black in artificial light so ended up with only a subtle change. Easy to use, quick process time, not too messy, decent results, and the conditioner smells nice. The only negatives are that it was difficult to wash all the color out and it left my hair kind of dry and brittle. Usually my hair is pretty healthy because I don't do anything to it except shampoo and condition. Overall, I'd recommend it.
