The water is hard with high PPM where I live, and this filter has removed the chlorine smell, my hair and skin feel softer after showering. I used to get out of the shower and immediately need lotion because my skin would feel tight like a drum, which doesnt happen anymore after installing this filter!My acne also cleared up, which is hard to tell if this is a benefit of the filter, but due to my new lack of dry skin after getting out of the shower, my pores may not feel the need to produce as much oil anymore.My hair has been much softer and has had more shine over the last few months since I've installed this filter, due to less buildup. I used to use a clarifying shampoo to remove the buildup, which I haven't needed to use in quite a while.I'm going to order a bath filter too, so I'm not taking a bath in unfiltered water either! Since my bath water definitely smells like chlorine, and has become even more noticeable since my shower water has no smell any longer.The indicator which tells me that I need to order a replacement filter cartridge, is that the shower water pressure significantly decreases! This confused and frustrated me at first, until I removed the spent cartridge inside and had no issues with water pressure. Now I always keep an extra replacement cartridge on hand for immediate replacement, and continuous filtration.I love this filter, and decided to purchased it based on the reviews.. it's a great product, doesnt leak, its simple to install and I highly recommend trying this out for yourself, especially if you have hard water!Another benefit I've noticed over time is that my shower is much easier to clean, and there's no more buildup, or film around the edges, and theres no more dried up calcium around my faucet..I was skeptical at first, but the reviews turned out to be true!

This came in new condition; no complaints with its appearance. The installation was easy. We also have a filtration system for the house but it is unable to fully prevent salt from coming through. We chose this to protect our skin and hair from the harshness of our water. I use it in combination with hair conditioners and pumpkin seed oil supplements. I drink also daily drink a lot of water.I’m not sure if this shower head makes any difference.I do enjoy the ease of switching from one spray configuration to another while showering.
