The Odd Egg

Used this as a class text and the children (3 and 4) loved it. Prompted lots of discussion about which animals hatch out of eggs and about crocodiles. We also talked alot about the importance of kindness.

Bought for our granddaughter (nearly 5) for Easter. She loved the book along with all the usual chocolate eggs and treasure hunt that we supplied as extras..

Well written

A super book to introduce discussions on oviparous animals linked to spring and Easter. We use this alongside a mystery egg which appears in a big nest in our school garden- what could be inside? Lovely examples of animals who lay eggs and the ending is great!
