I purchased these as an option to hide pills for a VERY picky mare. They were easy to break apart and soft enough, didn't stick back together perfectly well but was sufficient for what I needed. All of our horses like them and they were very effective for disguising medication!

A to Z Cookies smell and taste good. (Yes, I tasted them.) Most importantly, my horse loves them. I especially like them because they are soft enough to hide a pill . My 31 year old horse has Cushings and his sugar levels are rising. I had to find something with less sugar and starch for the pills. I am keeping the cookies at room temperature and hoping they don't harden like other brands because they work great right now. I only need a little bit to hide the pills, so I break off what a need from one piece. This helps keep the cost down. I highly recommend these cookies.

These are soft, round, and relatively large; one cookie is a big treat. Given how my horse tries to stick her nose in my pocket when I have stored a cookie there, they must taste pretty good. I haven't used them for hiding a pill, but they seem like a good option for hiding medicine.They're a little pricey, and that's the reason for four stars instead of five.

The media could not be loaded. I gave these to my mare as a pill pocket. She has PPID and needs pills daily. She sniffed the out and immediately ate it. Although, the little brat has learned to pick the pill out, eat around it and let half of it drop to the ground. Either way, she likes the cookie and it is very soft. Very easy to hide a pill and mold it around the cookie.

My pony loves these – and he can be picky. I just use as treats; easy to break into small pieces for my small boy.

My horse needs to eat low sugar treats. He loves these as his special, soft treat and I love giving him one or two treats nightly. I've purchased these for about 2 years. This last plastic container that I received in late October 2021 came beautifully packaged as always, but the treats must have been stored somewhere warm. From the top, they were melted together. I am now halfway through the container and have to cut or dig out treats so they come out in clumps rather than in the shape they are made because they are one giant container shaped treat. Every container like this has had issues by the time I get to the bottom and that's completely understandable. I store them in my house, so they stay at a nice temperature - not hot or cold. The weight of them packs down the bottom. This time, the issue started when I opened the container. These are far too expensive to be in this condition. I am going to try the tub (15 lbs, I think) to see if I get a better result. Disappointed in the way they must have been stored in the warehouse. Product is one of our favorites when they are not melted together but unaffordable in smaller quantities.

I wrote an earlier review and would have liked to edit that one, but couldn't figure out how to do it so.... My new review is that this company is awesome! I had complained that they sent me the wrong flavor and they called to apologize and to say they would deliver the correct ones! I thought it was their mistake, but it was actually Amazon's. As to the cookies, they are perfect! All the horses love them, and they are great for my boy with Cushings as they are low carb/sugar. He loves both kinds; however, I wanted the original flavor as their consistency works best for hiding pills. Thank you for a great product and great customer service! Pamela Jacobs
