You will not need the optional remote head bracket for your rig to use this mount This mount includes the vent mount and a side grip holder. The side grip holder has padded arms and can handle devices from 1 7/8 inches to 4 1/4 inches in heigth. It can be tightened by pushing down on the arms and then released by pushing the release button on the bottom of the holder. You can store your device safely from site when you reach your destination It can be very difficult to find a spot for your GPS, iphone, Cellphone, ipod.... in todays cars.
