The item looks good but when you put the barbell extension it doesn’t have stability and sometimes it even moves and swing during exercises. It’s a real pain dealing with that because it can affect the whole exercise motion or cause injuries. The weights and bars are plastic. It have 2 small bars and 1 extension that makes it like 4 feet width. I requested a refund but they want me to pay the shipping which cost the same that the product. Definitely not worthy. Still waiting for Seller response.

Great buy for the price. Came earlier than expected. Everything included as description read. Great material used to construct equipment, the double locks hold weight in place nicely, easy to change between amount of weight. Can also use the plates with other 1inch bars and vise versa. I just received them yesterday, took them out and started using them right away because I was so anxious to get back to lifing. It's been so long and some of my life/work changes make getting to the gym very hard, covid or not.These are amazing for the money, and I do not regret this purchase in the least.One thing I will say, and even in spite of this I'm giving them five stars, the bolts really are annoying. I first read the reviews and saw the mentions of the bolts and thought "oh, how bad can it really be?"Oh it's bad. BAD.One of the clamps (I bought an 88lb set with "old nuts" - I'm guessing an old style) I got spins really easily and goes on relatively quickly but this one is an overachiever that does not set proper expectations for the others. The other three all have difficulty matching the thread on the bars and then you've gotta fiddle with them to get them unstuck to either put them on or take them off.It's so much of a hassle, it can take you right out of your "let's do this!" headspace while you negotiate with them and try not to mash your fingers. I bought some third party 1" quick clamps that magically appeared in my recommendations here on Amazon after buying these weights, and they fit the bars well, so I will be using those instead of the annoying ones that came with the weights.But over all, for the price, despite this one annoyance, they are great. Good amount of weight for working out at home and making decent progress. The configuration possibilities are handy for small or multipurpose spaces (I'll be using these mostly in my living room or home office space which is full of typical office worker stuff), the hex shape of the plates means they don't go rolling across the floor. Plus just the bonus feeling of looking at them and saying "these are mine." LolNot borrowed from a gym, mine.Worth it all around. Would buy them again. I've only had them for a day and a half, but if anything happens to them I'll *insert the puppy meme from Brooklyn Nine Nine.*

I recommend everyone who purchases this item to first check the total weight. I ordered the 40kg/88lbs set, which should have came with 8*3kg weights, 4*2.5kg weights, and 4*1.25kg weights, but came with only 5*3kg weights, 7*2.5kg weights, and 4*1.25kg weights. Nowhere near the 40kg total... I have been messaging the seller and they have shipped me a few extra weights to even out the 3kg and 2.5kg stacks. So I am giving them 4 stars because I like the weights and the customer service has been good.

This product is used and comes dented and broken

I bought this to use as a barbell with online weight classes. I was deadlifting 200 plus before the pandemic and a hip replacement in fall 2020, and figured this relatively light set would be a good lifting restart. But I can not use it as a barbell, because one of the dumbbell rods will not screw into the center barbell rod more than 1/8-inch. (The other dumbell rod at either end screws into the dumbbell center rod fine. But only having one does me no good.)I wrote to the seller to request a new dumbbell rod. No response now a week later.AT this writing, returned to Canada nearly three weeks ago. No response yet.

Like many others, I've taken to working out in my own home during the pandemic. I didn't have the different weights I'd need for a full workout, so went on a search for something that would work for both my husband and myself. I am very happy with this set. It was easy to assemble and get started that very same day.Note that the weight designations on each plate are kilograms, so if you're used to using pounds, you'll need to do a little conversion to know what you're lifting. The only thing that I didn't love about this set is that the bars for the dumbbells are plastic. We actually found a couple of metal screw-on bars at a local retailer and use those instead of the ones that came with the set.

It came in earlier than expected so I was happy but it was missing 3 barbell clamps, everything else looks nice .EDIT: after I sent in a report that I didn't have the 3 clamps they sent it too me days later and they fit way better than the 1s I bought as a replacement, so I'm satisfied.
