I am writing this review to show that the himi jelly containers do indeed seal to keep the paints moist. All you need to do is push the lid down after closing the latches and it clicks right into place.

I’ve recently decided to try out painting and knew I wanted to try jelly gouache. I recall seeing Mira Byler on YT use something similar in a few of her videos so decided to give it a go.This set was wonderful. It came with TWO set of brushes, two water bags (which I promptly recycled), two rather large canvas boards, a palate, a scraper tool, pencils and eraser, and of course the paints. I appreciate that the set came with an extra large container of white for mixing too.Each pod was easy to open and only a little messy. I’ve made a few paintings so far and I love these!Like any art product, there is some technique and/or practice needed, which I’m still working on but can’t complain as I’m a complete novice. (Some areas are darker/lighter than others even if I feel I use the same amount of paint, that could be my paper too?)
