Worked perfect for our 2012 Kia optima. Easy install, sturdy. Cheap part considering what the dealership wanted to charge! With the ease of install, do not pay the dealership price for repair! This part works perfectly!

I needed to replace the mirror positioning motor in my 2016 Kia soul at the time. The dealer from where we purchased the vehicle would only sell us the whole side mirror housing assembly, but not the motor by itself. This may not apply to all, but my presumption is that most dealers would do the same. However, I did not have the temperment to find a dealer that would sell only the mirror motor or a junkyard that had the part available. Despite Amazon Confirmed Fit and the product's vehicle application description, this part does fit and will function in a 2nd Generation Kia Soul (2014-2019). It seems that Hyundai-Kia uses this in a majority of the vehicles they manufacture. (Assumingly, at least for the USDM.) Therefore, I had ordered it. The motor adjusts the sideview mirror's position. This part non-handed; it clearly indicates the TOP and can be used in either the left or right position. (LH/RH TOP - Left/Right Hand Top position) After connecting the plug to the motor, it was relatively easy to install into the side mirror housing. After, the motor is installed, you can then attach the mirror part itself.
