If I could, I'd give this a negative 5 stars all around, for poorly constructed product in general and also for severely lacking seller response. As has been a trend I've noticed with some items here on Amazon, this couch tray table arrived broken. There's three different 6" wooden strips seemingly screwed on each end and glued with some sort of weak adhesive to the underside of the top. These strips are what the metal support structure is bolted to. Out of the box, the main center of those strips was floating around in the box and the wood screws that were supposed to be helping it stay attached were stripped out of their holes. This means that the top can only be bolted to the legs using the 2 left & right attachment points. I've submitted a review of the seller, but alas they don't care to respond. I'm returning this piece of junk for something else from someone who cares to build, sell, and support their products.

The wood laptop table is very sturdy and easy to put together with all necessary hardware enclosed. However, the wood top is very crude (pallet wood?) and less than smoothly finished. It is already catching on my clothing. I like the size (a generous 16" x 24") as well as the height. Thank you.

While I am not a fan of "TV" trays in general, I needed a compact & easily moveable table to put my Surface/Kindle/electronics on so I can work while I rock my daughter to sleep in her nursery.It was also required to look nice - given that I spend so much time in there! This table met all my requirements. It is sturdy and looks exactly like (if not better than) the photos with a modern yet slightly rustic look. I like it so much, I will likely order another to use as a TV tray in our family room! (To which all TV trays had been previously banned).My only note is for those who plan to use it as a TV tray: the rustic surface could prove difficult to clean spills from. I would suggest using a mat under your plate.For reference - I have spilled water on it a few times myself, and so far it still looks new, no damage noticed as of yet!

Sturdy and well made table. We decorate our house with furniture mostly from Restoration Hardware, and this piece fits right in...and I love how it is big enough for both my husband and I to share a meal all the while watching Dateline :)
