It smashes, it flips. Shaker holes are smaller than I would have liked, but not an issue.

I was a little dubious at first about the price of these items. They seemed too cheap to be any good. Boy was I wrong. The turning spatula has a nice sharp, perfectly flat edge that over Saturday evening helped me make over 150 smash burgers perfectly. The handle is strong and no sign of play in the scales or rivets. The smash device works well too. This isn’t a flat plate, but will make evenly flat patties from 120-140g beat balls. This was just what I needed. Finally the salt shaker is brilliant too. The top screws on and off to fill with your seasoning of choice. For me that’s sea salt, black pepper and garlic powder. The holes are big enough for pepper to pass through and not just salt. Excellent piece of kit.

I've used this quite a bit during BBQ season, the burger squasher thing is a bit light weight, but works nonetheless and good value for money

Good well made items, arrived quickly too

I do a fair amount of cooking. I tried SmashBurgers twice and decided I need to be cooking then. This a really good kit at a great price. I cook my Smashburgers on Seasoned Cast Iron both stovetop and gas grille. I use a 3 oz burger. This kit made it easy to press and flip these quick cooking burgers. Don't forget to use Parchment Paper with the Press, Burgers were perfect, clean up was a snap!
