GeoPot PL72X16X14 Raised Planter Bed, 72-Inch by 16-Inch by 14-Inch

This is generally an excellent product; I put in my second set, this past year--the original set lasted five years.I ordered the first batch off the Geopots website, and this batch from Amazon, because the Amazon price is just over half the regular retail ...but I think that low price is because these are consistently missing parts--specifically, two, 14" lengths of PVC pipe.For me, that's fine, since I'm replacing old ones and don't mind reusing a couple of the older pieces of PVC, in a place protected from sunlight. For the rest of y'all, it's a choice: you can order a piece of PVC on Amazon, at the same time as you order the planter, and then cut it, and still save about $20 vs. the regular retail price...probably worth it, but up to you.The planters themselves are great for my rooftop garden; they have just the right amount of breathability and drainage, don't add enough weight to worry about, and I can even slide them around on the concrete, when I have to. I have veggies, herbs, perennials, fruit and ornamental trees all doing great in these. In five more years, I'll probably order them again. :D Here are some pics of the 36x16, 72x16, 36x36 models, respectively. As you can see in the middle photo of the 72x16s, the center pipes show in Winter, but the plant growth completely covers that, Spring through Fall.

My wood planter rotted out after 10 years so I tried this. I really like it so far. Easy to put together, It holds all the dirt I need in it. I can grow plants 3 deep. As in Day Lillies, Oriental Lillies, and Coneflower. I know it would work for vegetables as well. We used old bricks around it so we could sit next to it. I am excited to see how it does through the years.

While I thought the product was good, I appears in the picture that there are vertical PVC pipes in the center piece to give it more stability. There are certainly connections for them. But there wasn't and when filled with potting soil and the sides bulge and it looks unsteady.

Missing some pieces, but made it work

My product was delivered missing 2 pvc legs - otherwise, looks durable. Have to wait to use it until I go to the store and get pvc though, sorta defeats the purpose of having it shipped.

Love this- easy to set up and will give me a on of gardening space

It was missing some pvc supports but just went to a hardware store and bought one then cut em to fit. Might get more eventually.

This is the third geopot that I've ordered. The other 2 were perfect and grew great vegetables last summer. As other reviews have stated, my newest one arrived with 2 missing parts. Frustrating!
