Prepac Prepac Monterey Cherry 6 Drawer Double Dresser

A good sturdy & inexpensive dresser. The drawers aren’t particularly deep or spacious; we’re mostly using these to store bed linens (small apartment with no linen closet) and as a TV stand for our bedroom. Giving 4 stars because it was a total pain to assemble. Took my fiancé and I 3.5 hours to put it together. The instruction booklet is for a few different kinds of dressers that the company produces so the instructions are vague. The pieces are not labeled, so you have to guess which piece is what. The booklet also just completely skipped over a step (where you have to put the top of the dresser on before attaching the upper backing). The wood also came damaged (see 2nd picture), which is especially a shame because it is exterior facing. There was also some kind of dried adhesive drips on the bottom of the faces of one of the drawers. Overall, it is a good and sturdy dresser. I just wish it were easier & faster to assemble, and that all of the pieces had arrived fully clean and not damaged.

I bought this for my Aunt. She needed a TV stand for her new to her assisted apt. she moved into. Her kitchen is so small it only has two burners sink and tiny fridge. No place for tea towels. recipes and all your other paraphernalia. This works fantastic :) She is very happy with it Also I have to say BIG Thank You to UPS. Somehow I had it delivered to my address and not her address. She just lives not far from me. I couldn't move this myself so I got the men to take it with them while I contacted the UPS centre. Happily they fixed it and they delivered her dresser a couple of day later with no charge to anyone. I am so happy about my purchase. It looks real nice and I am glad UPS was good to me too. Bought this as part of the full set for our bedroom. Each piece looks very nice when assembled. We love the colour and style. But the major flaw with all of them is that the veneer on the tops is thinner than tissue paper and scratches too easily. It chips away from sharp edges if you brush against it.

Be careful with assembly. If you make a mistake you have to pull apart at least the last four steps, just to fix it, so take your time and pay attention. Especially with the sliders for the drawers. Mine came damaged and I realized it was chipped after I put it together. I guess they thought it would be too much for me to return the entire thing so they just refunded me a part of the money and I kept it. Nice color too.

for under $200 delivered this is a good deal. Delivery took way longer than the 2 days amazon prime promised, but that's to be expected. Comes in 2 boxes. The instructions have 1 error and 1 item that needs a lot more clarification. the error is with the center piece, it is a weird shape but even if you orient it the right way, it shows the holes on the wrong side and it ends up being really confusing to assemble. The really big issue is that there are 2 different sizes for the zync circle pieces that lock the screw in studs in place, and this is not mentioned in bold in the manual, and they all come in the same bag and are very difficult to tell the difference between. The larger ones fit the dresser itself and the smaller ones are for the drawers. The small fit in the large holes but not the other way around. I ended up assembling with some of the small ones in the dresser part and ended up with ones too big to fit in the drawer part, so I had to remove them from the assembled dresser and move them. Eventually I figured it all out but it added a lot of time to the install, I wish they were packaged in different pages or were different colors (the way some of the studs are) to simply assembly.
