Trixie28631 Cuddly Bed for Cats 47 × 38 cm

OK, our cat is a big boy, but I thought I would show the scale of this as I was surprised when I opened the box. Al loves his bed, but he is hard pressed to curl up into it, so he puts a bit of himself in. Great value for two beds, a little more suitable for the ‘daintier’ animal. Not the legendary hench ‘Fox Beater’ of Surrey! :0)

So I built my cat a new home for when she is chilling out in the garden and to save her from the rain. Her previous one was a little run down. So I buy this little cushion for her to relax on. Set the whole thing up and watched her sniff my new creation and go sit on a friggin old flattened box. Now the most honest review I can give is I haven't sat in it my self but it seems pretty good. The inner base could do with being a bit thicker but I just put an extra pillow below it. Nevertheless for the cost its decent. Dont know what my cats problem is.

I bought this as my cat requires 8 weeks' cage rest following leg surgery and I wanted something soft with low sides that she didn't need to step in/out of which would fit in the cage.I was wary of the price at just under £8 but as my cat is very fussy I didn't want to spend a fortune on a bed for her to reject it - I have a graveyard of expensive rejected cat beds! I was also told by the vet to expect toilet accidents at first too so no point spending lots of fancy beds.When I opended the package I was very disappointed as I thought it was quite cheap quality, material was sort of soft (but not fluffy soft) and didn't look very comfortable as the base has no padding under the fabric so is quite hard once placed on hard surface. Other reviews say it's a fake Trixie product but I've not had their products before so I can't comment on that.I didn't have time to get a new bed as it arrived the day she came out of hospital so I put it in the cage and hoped for the best...Well - she absolutely LOVES it!! So much in fact that a few weeks into her cage rest, I bought another one so I can wash one whilst using the other as she won't sleep on anything else I put in the cage for her.It's perfect for cage rest as it doesn't require her to step into it but it still has shallow sides so she feels safe and cosy. It's also almost waterproof for little accidents too. I say almost as the liquid can get through the seams but seeing as this isn't an advertised feature it's not a criticism and is actually a slight bonus.It washes up nicely - hand-wash in some liquid soap then spun in the washing machine to get off the excess water. Dries quite quickly if the weather is on your side or on the radiator if not. It hasn't lost it's (sort of) softness after 4-5 washes and my cat is still incredibly happy with it.I'm afraid I personally don't think much of it quality wise but it is good value for the price. I'm not the one using it though and seeing as this has helped make my cat comfortable during her cage rest that's all that matters so it's 5/5 from me and a huge paws up from my cat!😻😻😻😻😻

but we had to send them back because we had bought too many cat beds! We bought too many beds as we were unsure which ones would be satisfactory. With this particular cat bed, though, we were not allowed to buy one only, we had to buy two. However, I've given five stars because there was no problem when we returned them and I got my money back, minus postage. Delivery was free so I guess it was only fair that we had to pay return postage. We won't be buying these beds in the future though as we also ordered an amazon basics pet bed which is much thicker and comfier and our cat loved it so we didn't even bother showing her these beds before returning them.
