Seems comfortable on my 2-yr old Maine Coone. He gets right into it with no trouble since the buckle is on his back and not his belly. The clasp is sturdy, and with the Velcro flap, I feel confident that he will not slip out. Well designed so his long hair does not get caught in the Velcro or buckle. What do you think of my little boy?

I am happy with the fit and quality. A small fit my rather large 15-20lb house cat.

What a disappointment :( I ordered three of these - 2 smalls and 1 xsmall - for my 3 cats who love enjoying the backyard. All my furbabies have spent time outside, two of them with harnasses and one without, so they were not at all spooked by the change of scenery. Loved how the harnesses looked and fit. However, once putting on the harnesses with a leash, ALL THREE cats were able to escape them. They simply stood backwards and easily slipped out. I couldn't believe it!! Naturally I tested this in a controlled environment that I could easily watch them and thank goodness I did. I could see my one clever boy finding a way out but not my two calmer ones. I am currently returning to purchase different harnasses.

“False Advertisement”!!!The harness I got shipped to me looks nothing like the one online. ACTUALLY IT’S NOT EVEN THE SAME ONE, IT DOESN'T EVEN HAVE VOYAGER BRAND ON IT LIKE IN THE PICTURES! IT SAYS “Ruffington” Looks like a cheap knockoff version of what’s posted online. (SEE FOR YOURSELF IN MY PICTURES I POSTED) And to top it all off I ordered a Size Medium (M) & received a Size Small (S).The bag has a sticker label on it saying Medium, but the harness itself has a Size Small tag on it. Whoever packaged it did a poor job & should be fired.

I usually don't write reviews too soon after buying a product because one of the main things I think makes a good product is how well it holds up over time, which you couldn't possibly know in days or weeks. However, there was such varying review information over this product that I felt compelled to write one immediately. I almost ordered 2 of these vest harnesses in different sizes because 1/2 the reviewers said they run large while the other 1/2 said they run small. How is that possible to have such a split decision? The only thing I can think of is that 1/2 the people bought them for short hair dogs or dogs that recently had haircuts while the other 1/2 had dogs with 1970s sized afros. I went with the Medium size harness because my dog had outgrown her XS Top Paw harness by just a smidge and I thought there's no way she could jump up to a Large. While Voyager's sizes are far different from Top Paw's the logic was still right. I have a 14 pound Shia-poo (1/2 Shitzu, 1/2 poodle) that looks mostly Shitzu. The Medium sized harness fits her nicely and there's no doubt that she would have been swimming in the Large. Similarly, there's no doubt that a Small wouldn't have fit her at all. As far as fur goes, she got a haircut about 2 months ago but we do usually let her fur grow out during the Winter months. Luckily, there's enough adjustable give that she'll still be able to wear this harness comfortably even when sporting her Winter 'fro. One savvy reviewer said to pay more attention to the weight limits on Voyager's size chart. I basically agree but would probably suggest that if your dog is within 1 or 2 pounds of the upper limit on the chart then get the next size up. For example, the chart shows that size Small goes up to 15 pounds. Well there's no way that a Small would have fit my dog. Since my dog weighs 14 pounds I went up to a Medium and it fits perfect. I hope this helps. By the way, despite just receiving this product yesterday I believe it will hold up well. It looks and feels just like the Top Paw harness it replaces but cost less than 1/2.

The harness part itself is great, it fit well and seemed comfortable for my 10 pound Chihuahua. My issue is the D-Rings and plastic clasp on the back of the harness. The D-Rings are too big on a small dog harness. The metal clasp on a small dog leash is usually not very big, so it barley is able to clasp the D-Rings on this harness. The plastic clasp on this harness is also too big for a small dog harness.The biggest problem I have with it, is when your dog walks, the D-Rings rattle against the plastic clasp. Very annoying when you and your dog are not used to hearing any noise from their harness when taking walks. Used this one time, and never again. Get what you pay for...

When my 12 year old dachshund was having issues with a large bladder stone that caused her to leak urine and unable to control herself, I needed to put her in diapers. Surgery was not an option due to her heart. The diapers would not stay on. I decided if there was some way that I could keep it on with a Velcro strap and a harness that should work. I did a search and found this step in harness. It has literally saved her life. It got us through the worst of her stones issue (I believed that she finally passed it) and now she only wears a diaper at bedtime just in case of an accident. This harness is also great when we go for walks. She is hard to get a regular harness on because what dog wants to stand still and be patient when they know they are going for a ride or walk? I uploaded two pictures. One to show how I used it with the dog diaper and one of her sleeping for your entertainment! As you can she, it is very comfortable to her. I also bought a second one for my American Eskimo.

This halter is the noisiest thing I've ever heard. While your dog is wearing it, the metal loops clonk against each other and the plastic clip. It's like putting a bell on a cat. I take it off when we're in the house since the noise would drive any animal crazy.Also, the smaller sizes are not meant to be used with a dog leash that has a small clip. The leash clip can not fit over the two metal loops. You can only attach it to one, making it less secure. I really don't like this halter at all.

Super easy to put on. Way faster than traditional harness. Bought Xs and S for our kittens. Xs for our girl who is maybe 7-8 pounds. Just fits and can snug up the Velcro . Same for our boy. He is larger 10 pounds plus. Didn’t measure them for sizing, but these fit. They walk around no problem because not too bulky.

I bought this harness after spending a fortune on a harness from Pets At Home. That one is absolutely useless and twists and rucks up as soon as my dog walks. It looks so uncomfortable. I was after one that was kind to the dog but man enough to hold her when she pulls. This harness is great and should be able to be worn during the warm summer months as the material is soft and comfortable. Very pleased with this one and it arrived earlier than expected!

I just got this harness and I love it.... with a caveat. The sizing was great, I was buying it for a cat and it fits well. The cat likes it as well as any cat likes any harness.... I put it on her, she took a step and “fell” over, signifying her disdain. She will get over it. What I did not like was that it came obviously opened and worn by another dog or cat, there was fur all over it. Now it may have been from a customer trying for size, ... that is understandable, but it should have been sent clean. Overall, it won’t take much to clean and it fits so I will keep it.... but really would be 5 star but for that.

One of the best harnesses I've ever bought. Nice breathable fabric, very easy to put on and fits safely and snuggly. XS fits my 2.5kg long coat Chihuahuas. Bought as a test but will be buying more. It arrived early too.

I really like this harness but I think they really need to sort out the size chart. I measured my dog as guided and used the size chart to order. It said he needed an extra large but it is so big on him. So I have ordered a size down which is a large and that barely fastens!
