Are they too tight on top, squeezing the ankle?

Yes, somewhat tight, leaving an indentation on the ankle, and I have small to medium ankles. Other than that I do like them, but this is not good for circulation. Any binding can run into issues down the road....speaking from a nurses point of view. This was disappointing.

Are these available in knee-highs? I love my ankle ones, but they do show with some pants. The fabric on the bottom is awesome for my rough heels!

They wear above ankle a few inches but don't go to the knee

They are 1 size fits most. My 8 years old wearing a size 4 youth can wear them and they fit me perfectly and I wear a size 10

Is the cotton sole thick? I need something very thin because my shoes are a snug fit and no room in shoe for a thick sock sole.

The sole is pretty thin. A little reinforcement to help prevent holes but not like a regular sock. I bought these for my own snug shoes and they work great
