While the rubber joy con covers fit just fine
The case and the screen protector work well with the switch. While the rubber joy con covers fit just fine, they really don't do much for you unless you play pretty exclusively in handheld mode. My only complaint is that I wish there were a bit more room for storage opposite where the unit is held. Not a big deal though.

Durability
Had my switch inside this case strapped up. Had put the case on top of my car and drove off down the neighborhood with it still on top. Had it fall off and hit the asphalt. Picked it up and no damage to the switch. Just the case was scratched a tad bit but the case saved it from shattering!

Case: Great case, seems hard and sturdy but strap completely fell apart.Joy-con Covers: Meh. Seem pretty flimsy.Cartage holder: Thick and sturdy.Screen protectors: Protects the screen but has a weird sticky tape film that I can't get off.

This case is perfect in size, yes it seemed big at first but the switch is LONG. It holds everything the child needs to take the switch on an outing.
