Kingopt 4239C 4 AWG Battery Cable 3/8" Tubular Lug Ring/Eye Terminals 15 Per Package

I used these 4 AWG battery cables for my car audio cables. The 3/8 holes accurate and its thick. Its not like the cheap gold plated terminals you can buy. These are real copper fittings to fit real copper cables. For the price and the quality of these copper terminal, it can be beat. Pico is a outstanding company and have been for years.. These will last for years with proper installation. There are two methods of copper cable terminal installations. The first is to crimp the cable terminal then shrink wrap the ends. The second method is to solder the cable terminal then shrink wrap the ends. I prefer the crimp and solder the terminal ends, then shrink warp it. This is the only cable terminal I would recommend for real copper cables.

They got the job done. They are a little large fitting around a 4 gauge wire but they crimped on just fine so no complaints.10/12/2014 So a bit of an update. There has been no corrosion thus far. I am using these under the hood of my vehicle as the mains wiring connection points and have been really impressed that there is no corrosion yet. They are holding up very well. I highly recommend these if your looking for ring terminals. Again the only gripe is that they are slightly larger than necessary but that is to accomodate fitting over the jacket of your wiring but will work fine for a cold weld.

I purchased these to terminate my 4 ga cables on my battery powered system at my house. The lugs are not the cheap coated ones I've seen but are true copper, and at an excellent price compared to local availability. It was well worth the wait.They fit well, maybe a bit large, but nothing that caused an issue. I used a hammer type crimper and all was good.Will definitely order more as i need them. Good quality lugs! I was planning on soldering these, but ended up crimping them with my bench vise. I can't imagine a better and long lasting connection. It was so fast and easy, but I am sure that soldering would have been good as well.

There are so many lugs out there that lack quality. These are high quality, stout lugs. I solder my lugs to battery cable (the only way to go). So many crimp them and you just can't guarantee that they will hold forever, soldering does the job, trust me! Make sure you brush the end of the wire and the inside of the lug with flux for a solid hold, you'll never have to worry about your connection loosening up.

They are just as advetised. Easy to work with, the 4 AWG cable we had fit just fine; in fact, the cavity is perhaps a bit too big, if anything and that suits us just fine. It's when they make these things just a little big snug that one has problems getting them installed. These went on in a breeze and they appear to be conducting just fine. Good solid crimps.

These are great and difficult to find locally due to the size. When you do find them they are kinda pricey. Not on Amazon though. Nice quality, copper is a superior conducter making these ideal. You will need a heavy duty crimper though in order to make a solid, trustworthy connection.
