Worked well on the underbody of my Beetle
I redid the suspension of my super beetle last summer and as a result, much of the rubberized undercoating that was a few years old began flaking off due to the work I was performing. I applied this before the winter this year to cover the spots where the original paint was showing and found that the coating was still stuck after driving through the rust belt winter.Applying was no different from any other undercoating, I did wait a day before driving the vehicle after applying but it was very much tacky after an hour (but it may have been due to the humidity). I was able to cover both arches and spots underneath the body.

Good product for rust proofing and protecting metal parts
This review is for BLYSK Rubberized Undercoat. It includes some microfiber towels and the only real use I can think of here is to wipe the surface clean before spraying.Important to note that you must shake the can for 1 minute after you hear the ball inside break loose. This will make sure everything is mixed properly. Be sure not to apply this when it is under 50 degrees out and when you are spraying use short side to side strokes at about a foot away. You use this the same basic way you would spray paint. Do that and you should get good results. There are several uses for this product. You can deaden sound by applying it under your car. I would focus on wheel wells specifically if you have only plastic or metal ones, that is a huge source of noise from rocks or other debris. You can also use this to help soften any noise coming from the engine bay but that is tricky to do and not get on everything. I would just stick to the underside of your vehicle for this stuff. This can also be used to help prevent rust from forming but it will not do anything for rust that is already there. If you have rust now you will want to correct that and then paint it with a rust killer and then apply this rubberized undercoat here. That would give you the most protection.Overall a good product that does what it says on the can. I used it to add some rubberized coating back to an area that used to have it but no longer did. It is working well as far as I can tell. I like that I could also use this on other metal parts as well. Basically anything I need protected with a coating.
