Great flavor
Have used this long before I ordered it , really my favorite meat rub!

Very Disappointing Seasoning
I was a big fan of the Lysanders seasoning this product supposedly replaced. I'm very disappointed. It's basically just a bag of paprika. The bag indicated there's also salt, sugar, unspecified "herbs" and garlic powder but they are undetectable. Adds red color but virtually no flavor to the meat. I can not recommend and definitely will not buy again.

Not sealed on arrival
Inner package was not sealed when I opened it. Looks like a staple or something may have ripped into the plastic and tore it open. Seasoning tastes good on pork chops/pork steak.

J. L. Masters is NOT the same as Lysander's
I had read that "Lysander's" rubs were now being sold under the brand of "J. L. Masters". Thus, I expected the pork rub to taste the same, but it does NOT. It is a weird reddish color and tastes nothing like the fantastic Lysander's pork rub. Totally disappointing. Not sure about the other J. L Master's rubs.

Not Lysanders
Bought Lysanders for years . Must have sold out to JL Masters because same packaging not half as good

Delicious
A little pricy, but delicious. We use all the varieties for when we just don't have the time to make our own. A really nice alternative to BBQ sauce and off the shelf marinades, this rub turns ordinary meats into mouth-watering main courses.
