I have gotten both 1/8" and 1/2". stuff is great, works well, holds up, makes a very nice edge. I have used it on my RV. Make sure you do a little research on how to install the stuff. If you do then its not difficult to install, does take some effort to install but well worth it.

Ok, so I actually did not buy this typically known car trimming to be used on a vehicle at all. We needed some sort of edging to put around the metal edges of our daughters new rabbit cage my husband built to keep the girls from getting cut on it. The rigid plastic pieces made for cages would not work as the metal was ribbed. Ordered this hoping that it would work, at least for a little while. Not only does it work PERFECTLY for this, but it really looks great on as well! Everyone has commented on how nicely finished the cages and bunny house look with the nice black trim. The girls are very proud of it, and I'm pretty impressed with my husband for thinking to use this! The price was great being much less than $1 a foot, it''s a 25 ft. section and we have a good bit of it left. Putting it on the ribbed metal wasn't easy at times, but it went on the flat sections quickly and easily.

We have some storage cupboards in our office that one of my staff recently cut herself on. The one door had an edge that was very sharp, so we needed something to cover the edge so no one else would get hurt. I received the edge protector in the mail and had it installed on 4 cupboards in less than 10 minutes. The 25 feet was more than enough to cover the edges and was SUPER EASY to install. I even used a pair of scissors to cut the piece off at the bottom. I did watch the installation video before I ordered the edge protector and the only concern that I had was that our doors wouldn't close properly after installation, but you can't even tell that they edge protector wasn't a part of the original cupboard! I am very please with this purchase and would highly recommend that anyone who needs edge protectors for the metal cupboards, to purchase this one. It is high quality and so easy to install!

First off, this stuff is not your ordinary edge trim. This is truly top shelf trim. I had previously use some edge trim I had purchased at an auto parts store, you know the stuff that comes with glue that is pre-applied to the inside. I went for the most durable looking stuff they had but it was worthless. It almost immediately started coming off as soon as I has applied it. So i went in search of some better trim on amazon. That is when I saw the Trim-Lok and decided to give it a try. I am using the trim protect the sharp lip of the tailgate on my drive-on trailer for my ATV. It was getting really messed up rubbing on the concrete or gravel each time I loaded my atv. Let me tell you, there is a world of difference between what I had purchased before and this product. This trim does not use glue, but rather it has build in fingers on the inside that lock the trim down and hold it in place. Another big difference is this Trim-Lok trim has a integral metal core wrapped in what appears to be some type of highly durable vinyl. This is some really heavy duty stuff and it stays in place even when abused. It was perfect for my application and I highly recommend it.

I build side doors for my Yamaha Rhino. They were meranti board over a steel frame. This was used to finish the edges of the meranti board. Did an excellent job.
