NOW Foods Supplements, 7-Keto LeanGels 100 mg with CLA, Green Tea Extract, Acetyl-L-Carnitine and Rhodiola Extract, 120 Softgels

My nutritionist recommended me to take these 1 tablet twice a day. It has helped with curving my appetite & with making my body more lean especially with the stomach area . It's definitely cheaper on Amazon & it comes in a large bottle. I've been taking it for a couple of years now & it's definitely helping me with my weight loss goals. I don't feel any side effects either . I highly recommend this product. Though I stopped taking it for a brief time & I noticed my body was not as lean as it was when I was taking them. Though I started back taking them as soon as I noticed the difference. I also take CLA 2 tablets twice a day. When I was seeing a nutritionist she recommended for me to take the CLA. I also buy the CLA from Amazon .I buy the Bulk Supplement brand it comes in a large bag of 300 tablets. It's cheaper & it works great for me. Though this definitely works better when you work out on a regular bases. It trims you & makes your body lean etc.

There's lots of 7-KETO supplements out there from many different brands but this was the only one I could find that had the same ingredients my first bottle had that I purchased at my doctor's office. Her purchase was a bit expensive, I must say but this NOW product is less so than hers - not by much, but still less.Once my doctor's supplements ran out, I went and bought one on Vitacost. It didn't have all the ingredients my doctor's supplements had - just the 7-KETO, nothing else - and I noticed my energy level was not as elevated as it had been on my doctor's supplements, supplements that I have to say, I felt a marked difference in myself. So much more energy. Didn't lag or crash in the middle of the day like most do, No need for a nap. Even the pills looked different. Her pills were big and dark colored. The pills without the extra ingredients were the size of a D-3 supplement. Quite small.So I went looking for a bottle of 7-KETO with those added supplements, which I have to say most 7-KETO supplements DO NOT carry and because I didn't have the same level of energy, I have to attribute those added ingredients as to the reason my energy level was kicked up a notch.So I would highly recommend those people taking 7-KETO to look for those carrying these extra ingredients: 400 mg. Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA) (from Safflower oil); 75 mg of Green Tea Extract; 15 mg Acetyl-L-Carnitine; 10 mg Rhodiola Extract.Not all 7-KETOs are made the same. That has been my experience.

Used it for about a year now. I take 2 in the morning upon waking and 1 before working out. Major thermogenic LOL. I legit sweat up a storm, especially when doing cardio. It definitely helps with burning more cals in the gym. I also feel my muscle definition has gotten much better from this, particularly in my abs. If you push the dose too much, you will get problems tho. I've had numbness in the fingers and also loss of color at times when i took over 4 in a day. Do not do that. Seriously. When it happened, taking vitamin E and green tea extract resolved the issues in about 20 mins. So not a big deal. Taken as directed, it works flawlessly. I would suggest using it with other weight loss products, as I always stacked it. So I cannot speak to its efficacy as a stand alone product.Also, I've used the capsules of 7 keto before and this has a much much stronger burn factor. Probably due to the ALCAR added to it. I do subscribe and save for this. Def prefer it to the capsules.

I have only been taking this supplement for a few days. However, the benefit for me became apparent this morning after taking four capsules (2 per day). I am a diabetic and keep close control of my blood sugars with an insulin pump for a few years. Oops! despite consuming a sugar laden cake brought to my by two nice lady neighbors that love to bake, my blood sugar dropped and I could definitely feel the consequence. It had dropped to the low 60's. Usually I can start to tell the difference around 70. So, the metabolism boost that is touted for the product seems to be working in my particular case. I adjusted my insulin pump basal dosage to pump less insulin. Both my doctor and I (certainly) will appreciate taking less medication and let this supplement help my body's metabolism to utilize the sugars from carbohydrates on its own. If this continues for the next few months, I will be back to up the star count to five.

I began taking the 100mg 2x daily about 4 weeks ago. Initially, the boost of energy and the decrease in appetite and sugar cravings was AMAZING!!!! After about 1 week, started to notice more breakouts forming on face and back, but I figured it was worth the trade off. About 2 weeks into the regimin, started to notice I waas feeling claustrophobic in certain situations... this is totally NOT me, but again, I wrote it off, attributing it to getting older ( I'm 47). then a couple of days later, had a full blown panic attack... huh? I've never had a panic attack in my life, so I had to google it to make sure that was exactly what it was. Sure enough. By this time, I'm starting to wonder if it's the 7-keto since that is the only thing I have changed in my daily regimin in months. After two more terrifying panic attacks that same week, I finally realize that it must be the 7 keto, so I stop taking it. It took about 1 day for it to begin to clear my system and I started to feel less anxious and as of 5 days not taking it I feel almost back to normal, and no anxiety or panic since I stopped taking it. I'm sad about this side effect because I really LOVED the other benefits of it. I plan to stay off of it for the next 15 days, then re introduce it at a smaller dosage (25-50mg) to see if I can get the benefits without the nasty side effects.
