I've been using these for quite some time and I say YES! They are very good. Got the matching flat hot pad with it. Not once have they let me down. I sometimes use heavy cast iron pans and so far they haven't melted or even discolored. They are comfortable and easy to grab. Really like these.

Perfect for smaller sized containers. Cover enough of the hand to keep it from burning while moving. Bought to use with new glass containers we purchased to replace plastic ones.
