A Must-Have for your piece of mind, even leave it in my truck
The LifeStraw is hands-down one of the best investments I’ve made for hiking and emergency preparedness. It’s lightweight, compact, and incredibly easy to use—just uncap and sip directly from a stream, lake, or water bottle. No pumping, no waiting, no chemicals. What really impressed me is the peace of mind it offers. Knowing it filters out bacteria, parasites, and microplastics makes it a reliable companion whether you're on the trail, traveling, or building a go-bag. I’ve used it on multiple backpacking trips and it’s never let me down. Highly recommend for anyone who spends time outdoors or wants to be ready for unexpected situations. It’s simple, effective, and worth every penny. Another nice feature is you can screw it on a water bottle. so fill your bottle up from a water source screw the straw on and squeez it through.

A Lifesaver in the Great Outdoors: The LifeStraw Personal Water Filter
When it comes to adventuring in the great outdoors, having access to clean drinking water is a top priority. The LifeStraw Personal Water Filter has become an essential companion for my outdoor expeditions, and I cannot recommend it enough. Design and Portability (5/5): One of the first things that struck me about the LifeStraw is its sleek and straightforward design. It's incredibly lightweight and compact, making it a breeze to carry in my backpack or even in my pocket. This filter takes up minimal space, which is a major plus when you're trying to keep your gear load as light as possible. The convenience of being able to drink directly from a water source cannot be overstated. Filtering Efficiency (5/5): The most crucial aspect of any water filter is its ability to remove contaminants effectively, and the LifeStraw excels in this regard. I have used it in a variety of environments, from clear mountain streams to questionable backcountry ponds, and it consistently delivered clean, safe drinking water. It filters out 99.9999% of waterborne bacteria and 99.9% of protozoa, which provides peace of mind when you're relying on it for your hydration needs. Ease of Use (5/5): Using the LifeStraw is incredibly simple. Just dip the bottom end into your water source, and start drinking through the mouthpiece. There's no need for pumping, batteries, or chemicals. It's practically foolproof, and the flow rate is impressive, allowing for a quick and easy drinking experience. Durability (5/5): I've put my LifeStraw through the wringer, subjecting it to various weather conditions and rough handling, and it has proven to be remarkably durable. It's made to last, and the high-quality materials ensure it can withstand the rigors of outdoor adventures. Value for Money (5/5): Considering its reasonable price point and the fact that it can filter up to 4,000 liters (or 1,000 gallons) of water, the LifeStraw is an incredible value. Whether you're a backpacker, camper, hiker, or prepper, this is a must-have addition to your gear collection. If you need to hook up a hose to this filter, the diameter is 3/8 and this hose fits perfectly: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08FJ9GZYV?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1 In conclusion, the LifeStraw Personal Water Filter is a game-changer for anyone who enjoys spending time in the great outdoors. It's simple, effective, and reliable, ensuring that clean drinking water is never a concern. This compact and lightweight device has earned its place as an essential part of my outdoor kit, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to others who prioritize clean and safe hydration during their adventures.

Buy a few
This little gadget is a game-changer for outdoor enthusiasts like me. It's super compact and lightweight, which is perfect for backpacking. I hardly noticed it in my gear. Using it is a breeze. Just stick one end in the water source, sip from the other end, and voila, clean water! No pumping, no batteries, and no complicated setup. It's like using a regular straw. Now, let's talk about the most crucial part: water quality. The Peak Series filter is legit. It removes bacteria, parasites, and even microplastics, so I didn't have to worry about getting sick from sketchy water sources. Plus, it's got a long-lasting filter, so I don't have to replace it after every trip. The only minor downside is that it's best for clear water sources. If you're dealing with murky water, you might need to pre-filter or consider other methods. But overall, this LifeStraw filter is a lifesaver. It gives you peace of mind when you're out in the wild, and you never have to lug around heavy water bottles. If you're into hiking, camping, or traveling, this is a must-have. Happy sipping!

great product a must buy for everybody
This life straw is a game changer- it is easy to take anywhere and has a cap so you can not have to worry about water dripping everywhere. The price was great as I was able to get it on sale since they are very expensive I was very happy. The filter works well and siphons out all debris - the water tastes like spring water

Nice but disappointed as well
So I think the straw is very nice and I honestly cannot wait to use it but the only reason I'm giving a four star is because I hate that in the picture it shows two straws and in the other box it shows one straw. So when I I clicked onto the two straw picture I was under the impression that I would be receiving both for the price and when I got the package and had only seen the one. I ran back to my phone to check the order again and read what it said and even though they did right it still felt so wrong for them to be showing two straws in that picture instead of one, next time I'll read everything more carefully but I wish the seller would fix this so other are not under the same impression as I was. I would like to say the package was nice and neat and came in fast as well and I loved the box they put it in as well. I do not plan on opening this until I'm ready to use so sorry if one picture is not enough to view product.

Lightweight, Reliable, and a Must-Have for the Outdoors
Took this LifeStraw on a recent hiking trip and was seriously impressed. It’s super lightweight and easy to pack—barely takes up any space in my bag. I used it to drink straight from a stream and the water tasted clean and fresh, no weird aftertaste. What I love most is the peace of mind it gives you. Whether you’re hiking, camping, or just want a solid emergency backup, this is a no-brainer. It's simple to use, no moving parts or setup, and it’s BPA-free, which is a bonus. I’ve also added one to my emergency kit at home. For the price and quality, it’s an essential bit of gear for anyone who spends time outdoors or just wants to be prepared.

Useful so may ways
Everyone should have one if you camp or hike or get out in the wilderness. They are also great for your emergency kit you probably keep in the garage. They are bigger than a regular straw but not enormous. They work well at filtering water anywhere, anytime. I first learned about these when they were brand new and being touted for people without access to clean, safe water in poor countries. They have been around for years, just not so easily accessible until now. They are a great value for the money.
