Between our land and that of friends and neighbors I always have plenty of oak firewood to burn each winter. My fireplace is a Hean-n-Glo Northstar and it runs almost 24/7 during the winter months. The fireplace is 14 years old and has two blowers. One failed after three years (loud bushing bearing noise) so I replaced both of them with blowers with bushing-type bearings again not knowing any better. Those blowers always had some rattling and bushing noise and when they finally got too noisy recently I bit the bullet and paid a little more for two of these blowers with ball bearings. The rattles and bearing noises are completely gone and my fireplace has never been so quiet. Hopefully they will last for many years to come. For the cost of the Northstar fireplace they should come with these superior blowers.

Very easy and quick install, blows plenty of air. A little noisy, so I ordered the rheostat and hope to turn it down to see if it can make less noise.

I have previously tried 3 different GFK-160 blower replacements; each of those units failed due to the blower wheels slightly melting and subsequently deforming enough to ruin the unit.The FireplaceBlowersOnline unit, however, does not have that problem at all, since the blower wheels are rated at a much higher temperature than the other units.I did have a small issue, and called their customer service who was able to assist me very quickly and professionally. Great customer service!Obviously, I wish that I had tried FireplaceBlowersOnline in the first place.

This listing shows the brand as fireplaceblowersonline and it's not. Beyond that, the blower that was delivered does not fit the specs listed and is hard wired with a two prong plug and no ground, which means you can't hook it up to standard speed control without cutting the cord and splicing. Shady business pretending to be another company.

I own a Castle Insert pellet stove. I bought it used and though I love the heat it produces, I hated how noisy it was. After going through all the components, I realized the convection blower was making alot of noise. I searched the internet and ordered this blower. What a major difference! As soon as I had it in my hands I knew I was holding a quality motor. It is solid and heavier than the original blower motor that came with the stove. Now I have a nice hum that is comforting and I can sit in the same room and read! Thank you, fireplaceblowersonline for such a great product!

Shipped and arrived quickly. Installed in my Quadra Fire Castile Insert. Took some modifications. Half the cost of buying one from the Quadra Fire dealer. Works great !

I bought unit knowing it did not fit my application but the price was right and fabricated to fit my stove. So far I love it, quiet and it MOVES air!
